So shy
Can't seem to relax
Just standing there
Not able to get a word out
She's made fun of for having
No friends
And being alone
Just a jumpy little girl
Is all people see
She's so much more inside
But nobody ever takes the time to look
They judge her and push her back down
Past the bottom
To the black corners
Nobody can even see
She has these big, staring, brown eyes
Beautiful brown eyes
Covered in a veil of hurt
It's been that way for years
Slowly growing thicker and thicker
She's almost blind now
Blind to the kindness in the world
All she ever gets is shit from people
She didn't used to be this way
But people are mean
Cruel
They took her confidence
Courage
Hope
Passion
Energy
And just left her with a nervous stutter
