PROLOGUE
My name is Stormi Valentine. I'm a nerd, I have medium length brown hair, braces, and the ugliest glasses you've ever seen.
I wish it wasn't this way, I wish I was popular. I'm mean I'm only in 8th grade. I can be popular, I know it. Under the glasses and baggy clothes I'm actually gorgeous, call me conceited but I'm stating the truth. So over summer break I'm changing pretty much everything about myself. I will grow out my hair to a long length, get rid of these horrid braces, and get contacts.
So afterschool today I'm going shopping, all my clothes are baggy. I need skintight clothes that show my body off not hide it, so I'm going to the mall with the most popular girl in school. Thank goodness I used to be best friends with her in elementary school. We just drifted apart because of middle school, and I thought going shopping was a good way to become friends again.
I'm kinda ditching my friends for her though. I mean my friends and I don't share any common interests. We just friends because we're all nerds (I know just because you have braces or glasses, you aren't a nerd. A lot of people I know have braces). I mean this one guy I'm kinda dating. It's not official but we act like a couple. He's cute, but if I have to ditch him to be popular so be it.
I want to be like her. Every guy Is under her spell. They hang on her every word. I will make guys hang on my every word, specially Ryder Watson. He is the hottest guy ever. I've had the hugest crush on him for like three years. It doesn't help that he'll remember me for my ugliness.
By the way, I'm a werewolf. That means after my first shift, I will be gorgeous. And there's this thing called mates... You have one person made for you, to love you. I hope Ryder is my mate. You only can find your mate after your first shift.
Bring, bring, bring, bring. Yes, middle school is done! The graduation party is the perfect place to show off the new me. I gonna find Julia, the most popular girl, cause we gonna shop till we drop.
Next year I will be a new person, a new Stormi Valentine, an I will be the most popular girl to ever be at Oaks High. I can promise you that.
