Layla's POV:
I'm currently laying in my bed still in my party dress, Reth's beside me sleeping without a care in the world. Which is strange because just yesterday he was ripping up my dress to get me to stay. Those deep grey eyes had me in a trance, why did I care so much, I had no idea. But I know that I can't get him out of my head, as if someone answers my prayers my phone rings.
Fumbling with the buttons I answer, "hello." I was shocked at how tired my voice sounded.
"Hey, you took off so fast I didn't know what happened." I knew that strained voice belonged to Landon.
"Heh Landon, sorry I was just tired." Once his name left my mouth Reth was growling.
"To be truthful I wanted to dance with you." He sighs.
"Sorry." I say suddenly feeling guilty.
"No it's fine, I'll see you at school anyway." He adds quickly.
I mumble a bye before falling back onto my bed forgetting about my lustful night and longing, just entering dream land. But even in my sleep those eyes haunt me.

It was dark, I was cold and alone. No matter where I look there's only darkness. But something starts to shine, it was my chest. Touching the shimmering material warmth spreads through me, I wanted nothing more than to sleep forever but my alarm clock had other ideas. When I open my eyes the sun was shinning through the window curtains, yet the warmth remains.
