Dear Mom and Dad,

Do I HAVE to do the dishes?? It's so boring! Scrub, scrub, scrub, rinse, dry, put away. Scrub, scrub, scrub, rinse, dry, put away. Scrub, scrub, srub, rin..... oh, right. Getting off-track here.

Aren't you lucky to have me? Your hyperactive, crazy, stubborn, violent daughter who hates the dishes? No, I'm lucky to have you!!

All you need to know is that I love you! You are the best parents I could ever ask for!!! Not that I can ask for parents. That's kinda weird.

Anyway, I know you put up with my cranky-days and sad-days and overly-excited-and-hyper-days, and my punch-random-faces-days. Thank you!! I'm a handful sometimes, and I'm stubborn, but I know you love me, and I love you too! I am the golden child. Just kidding... I'm more like a blackish-gray. Sigh. No. I'm as white as they come.

I'm thankful that I've been raised in a Christian household with great role-models for parents. I don't deserve any of it, I know, but I'm still grateful!

So, with all of the might of my measly years, I just want to say thank you!

Love,

Kirsten
