Authors note: There are four more people that are coming into this story in this chapter. One is Jack who is played by Jay Byars. Another is Jude who is played by Luke Guldan. The third is Sean who is played by Milo Ventimiglia who is played by the younger version like when he was in Gilmore Girls and the fourth is Chris who is played by the younger Chad Michael Murray. I quickly gather my bag and leave the plane. I run out of the airport and stop when I get out. I look at my city. Nothing’s changed. It’s still moist, busy, dirty and dangerous. At least the parts that I’m looking at. It may be all of those things but its home. Not a great home but it’s still a home.

(Zachs’ POV from when he kissed Sarah)

I smile like a whipped idiot as I walk away from Sarah. My life is finally how I want it. I walk into the kitchen where Mom and Logan are having an argument.

“Bye.” Logan says turning to leave the kitchen.

“Come on!” Mom whines.

“Forget it.”

“Just hear me out. First of all, you love me.” She smiles innocently.

“Not right at this moment, I don’t.” He shakes his head looking at her terrified.

“You know how much this auction means to me. You would never throw up on the auctioneer or chase a pie.” Wow this is so entertaining. I don’t know why but watching your mother grovel is very amusing.

“I have a girlfriend mom. You know Hilary. Blonde, beautiful, witty, kind, Sarah’s best friend. Any of these ringing a bell.” Logan adds looking at her annoyed.

“I know but I really need you to do this bachelor auction for me. All of my friends’ sons are doing it. Are you really going to choose your own girlfriend over the woman that gave you life? Because I gave you life means that I can just as easily take it away.” Mom adds looking at him pleadingly.

“Mom I am going to say three things to you. One I am no longer a bachelor so I do not belong in those bachelor auctions. Two the reason why all of your friends’ sons are going is because they are all single and desperate. Three yes I would gladly choose my girlfriend over you in a situation like this.” He explains holding up his fingers each time he said a number. Mom rolls her eyes and leaves the room. I certainly do have great parents. I walk over to the dining room table where Daniel is helping Luke out with his practice college application letter to Harvard. Don’t ask me why he’s doing a practice one because I don’t know.

“Alright what is your nickname?” Daniels asks looking at his old Harvard application letter.

“Luke.” Luke says with a shrug. His real name is Lucas but everybody calls him Luke.

“Or droopy drawers.” Daniel smirks. I look at him with intrigue.

“What?” Luke looks at him confused.

“One time when you and Logan were three we all went to the mall with Sarahs family; you had these little jeans that were way too big for you so when we were walking in the mall they dropped to your knees and dad said ‘whoa there droopy drawers.” Daniel explains with a smirk. Luke looks at him confused and amazed.

“Why do you remember stuff like that? Why?” Luke asks him. Daniel rolls his eyes and looks down at his application again.

“Alright Personal statement.” Daniel adds with a smirk.

“Oh, the essay.” Luke groans.

Daniel looks back down at the paper and reads from it. “You can evaluate a significant experience that’s had an impact on you. How ‘bout that time your drawers dropped at the mall?” Daniel says quickly.

“Enough with the drawers.” Luke adds defensively before I hear something hard drop on the floor in another room. Everyone ignores it as soon as Matt walks in here angrily, throwing some pieces of paper on the table.

“What’s the matter Matt?” I ask looking the papers that he threw on the table. This is full of Calculus equations.
