Data.

Datas can think. Datas can feel. Datas can move. Datas can create. Datas can invent. Datas are innovative. Datas are imaginative. Datas can remember. Datas are stronger than you think, faster than you can imagine, smarter than any supercomputer on Earth. Datas are capable of doing everything humans can.

Except die.

Datas don't die.

All datas are controlled and cared for by the Data Tree, which is something similar to that of a CPU. It creates new data. It destroys corrupted ones. It determines when datas go, if they will come back. It gives them power, emotions and feelings. It gives them dreams.

It gives them life.

Datas. They are not just a figment of a young author's imagination. They exist in a world similar to that of Earth, in a world where technology is far more advanced than you could ever imagine. A place where no human would dare to venture to. A parallel world. A dangerous one, especially for humans with their miniscule strength, intelligence and speed compared to that of datas. And if you want proof that these things exist, I am proof enough.

My name is Miri.

I am a data.

Here's my new story. How do you like it? I'm still working on it, so it'll be a while until I post the next chapter, but please do gimme your comments on this ya? :D

PS I decided to repost this because I want to enter this for next year's Wattys and I am scared that it might not be eligible if it's posted before the deadline of this year's Wattys. Better safe than sorry rite? :D anyway, enjoy :)

Update (18/11) I've decided to enter this book into the Wattys :) I'm honestly not expecting anything but since I managed to finish it on time, I thought I might as well try out for it :) I'd appreciate it if you guys could support me and share this story :) Love you all :D
