Luna loved Sabin’s lips.
They felt… so right against hers. And they tasted so sweet…She’s never kissed a boy…or men before… he was her first kiss. Tomas didn’t touch lips, just straight sex and Luna couldn’t be more grateful for that. At least she didn’t have to fear a freeze or panic attack with memories whenever Sabin kissed her.
And she had a feeling she’d be kissing him a lot.
At least she hoped so.
Sex… Luna still needed time to deal with that one. Sabin held her flawlessly with gentle ease in his arms that form a protective embrace around her.
Making her feel so cherished.
Why didn’t she kiss him in the first place?
Luna broke away, panting and rubbed her face against Sabin’s, loving the texture of his uneven skin. He was so warm… and his warmth seeped into her, warming her cold dead insides. His thick fingers rubbed small, soothing circles in her hair.
Something close to a purr escaped her.
This is what she wanted.
“We have a lot to talk about.” Sabin murmured his breath tickled her ear. They did, and quite frankly, Luna didn’t relish in that thought. She didn’t want him to look at her any differently than he does, but…
Unfortunately, it was impossible for anyone not to take pity on her, as much as she wished it.
Something she’d have to get use to… right?
“Mhmm.” Was Luna’s only response. His hair was so soft; she ran her fingers through the silky strands.
“We need to sort all this through, the prophecy, Blaise… us.” He said the last part shyly and uncertain…it made Luna smile and she kissed him again.
Such a good man.
There was this enormous pull inside her chest, and at the other end of the pull Sabin was there. Luna didn’t know what it was… it seemed too powerful to be merely love at first sight…. Destiny was being thrown around too much nowadays so that one wasn’t right.
More like…. A piece of herself has always been inside Sabin, and the same with him, without them ever realzing it... then when they came together... she with him… they're one.
And Luna’s complete on the inside. Not healed, but complete as long as Sabin is there.
“We still have a guest.” Sabin’s deep voice reminded smoothly.Like chocolate over strawberries.
“Oh damn.” Luna sighed and pressed kisses all along his face…. She wanted to be closer. If she could she’d bury under his skin she would. Sabin chest rumbled in delight, he pulled her tighter against him as if he read her mind. Luna felt joy course through her, softening the hard edges of sadness that seemed to encase her insides.
She was…was… happy. Ridiculously so… with Sabin. She felt the giggles bubble up in her chest out her lips. She could get use to feeling this way.
“What’s so hilarious?” Sabin murmured as he pressed a kiss right under her ear.
“I’m… just… so… happy.” She murmured right back in between giggles.
Not a word she had used in a while.
But she was.
Sabin rumbled, please. “I like you happy. It makes you shine even more brightly. Soon I’ll have to shade my eyes just to look at you in all your glorious beauty.” He was teasing, but Luna felt a smile bloom on her face. He called her a beauty.
No one ever called Luna beautiful before. Tomas said she was too fat and plain on her own without any help to be considered pretty.
But Sabin thought she was beautiful in simple clothes and no make up.
Her heart swelled.
She was going to fall for him… hard. She can only pray he won’t hurt her. Because she would not survive any type of damage to the heart.
Sabin had the strangest urge to pound his chest and howl for all to hear.
