You and Cody Rhodes are the best of friends . You recently just started liking him , you just found out that he proposed , to his longtime girlfriend , Brandi. You found out from someone else and not him.
You haven't talked to him for weeks and he still doesn't know why your upset . Today you were here for Raw , coming back from your match , when you heard someone call you name . You turned around and it was Cody .
"Might as well confess ." You whispered to yourself . He caught up with you .
"Why have you been ignoring me ?" He asked .
"I just wanna be alone lately Cody ." You said .
"Oh , well I wanted to tell you . I proposed to Brandi . Aren't you happy?" He asked . You frowned and the tears fell down your eyes quick .
"W-why are you crying ?" He asked .
"Because Cody , I don't want you to get married to her. She's no good . She's using you for your money . I heard her talking on the phone ." You confessed . He frowned at you .
"Wow , how could you stoop so low to that level ? I understand you have a crush on me and love me . But you don't have to make up bullshit like that Amanda ." He snapped . You gasped .
"I am not ! Cody we've been best friends since diapers ! When have I ever lied to you ?!" You yelled .
"Right now you're lying ! I can't believe you you're supposed to be happy for me , you know what , don't even bother coming to the wedding ." He said and stormed away. You sunk to your knees and sobbed . You hugged your knees as the cries got louder . You felt arms wrap around you . You looked up and it was Nattie .
"You tried . I'm sorry Manda panda ." She whispered . That was her nickname for you. It always cheered you up ,But this time it didn't . You cried on her shoulder .
"He hates me ." You whispered. Nattie smoothed your hair out and just hugged you tight . You both walked to your locker room . You both sat down and talked for about an hour .
"Nattie I've made up my mind." You spoke up wiping your tears .
"About what ?" She asked softly rubbing your back . You took a deep breath .
"I need a break from the wwe ." You said . She gasped .
"What ? N-no you can't go panda . Your my best friend here ." She said about to cry too . You sighed .
"It's best . I'll be back soon . I'll call you and video chat with you everyday ." You said . She nodded and began crying . She hugged you tight and left out . You gathered your stuff and walked out . You let mr McMahon know and he agreed . You left out of the arena . And took one more good look at Cody , who was being yelled at by Nattie . And walked out .

2 weeks later ,
You were feeling better about the situation with Cody , and over it a little . You were sitting in your room , watching funny movies and eating popcorn , when your phone rang . It was Nattie . You both talked everyday since you left .
You ; "Hello ?"
Nattie ; " Hey girly ! How are you ?"
You; "I'm good . Watching movies . Bored ."
Nattie ; "you won't be in a. Little while . "
You; "W-what do you mean , Nattie ?"
She hung up . You heard a knock on the door . You smiled and knew it was her . You ran to the door and opened it . Your smile faded when you saw who it was . Cody . He looked a little rough .
He hasn't shaved , his hair looked messed up .
"Hey ." He said . You gasped .
"H-hi ." You whispered .
"C-can I come in ?" He asked . You slowly moved aside as he stepped in . He sat down on the couch and you closed the door . You sat down next to him , leaving a gap between the two of you .
"What do you want ?" You asked . Feeling the tears come again . He sighed .
"You were right . " he said . You chuckled .
"Okay , and what now ? You're coming to cry on my shoulder , and say you're sorry when I tried to tell you Cody ? You broke my heart ! Shattered it when you thought I lied to you , and tried to ruin your engagement ! I'm still hurt !" You yelled shooting up from your seat . He ran his fingers through his hair and stood up with you .
"And that's why I'm sorry . I'm so sorry for breaking your heart . I realized that you're the one . I miss you . I miss your giggles when I tickle you , or our funny and scary movie nights , or when we wrestled and play around like little 5 year old wrestlers . I need you in my life . Brandi isn't the one for me . Yeah she tried to take my money , but she didn't get a dime . Because I canceled the engagement with her before she could try . Then she confessed afterwards out of anger . I'm sorry . Please Manda. " he said softly . You began crying as he spoke those honest words . You looked into his eyes and you can tell they were sincere . He came closer to you and wiped your tears .
"I - I love you too." You whispered . He took a sigh of relief . He smiled and cupped your cheek . He slowly leaned in and connected his lips with yours , for the first time . You kissed back , just as passionately as he did . You wrapped your arms around his neck , as your tongues began exploring each other's mouths . A minute later , you both slowly pulled away . You rested your face on his chest as he stood there and held you .
"I'm sorry ." He whispered .
"I forgive you ." You whispered back wiping the tears from your eyes . He picked you up bridle style , and carried you to the bedroom , he laid you down and you cuddled close to him . Your face buried into his chest as he softly rubbed your back . You fell into a deep sleep, feeling happy with Cody by your side .
