-3 Years Before, Jay's POV-

"I...I'm so sorry..." He whispered, as he backed away from me. I struggled not to cry and I looked down. "So just like that, you're leaving? You know what, pursue your dream. Whatever. Fuck you." I snapped and turned around, ignoring the pained look on his face.

-Present Day, Jay's POV-

"Oh my god, did you hear?!" Kelsi came up to me and squealed. I rolled my eyes and slammed the locker door shut. "Hear what, you spazz?" I snorted as we walked to our next class. "Mindless Beha-" Kelsi began, but was cut off my a stampede of girls running down the hallways screaming. I raised an eyebrow as Kelsi joined in with their screams. "Who the fuck is Mindless Behavior?!" I shouted overtop of the other girls' screaming and 'oh my gods'. "Only the HOTTEST boy band ALIVE!" Kelsi shouted back as a sleek black limo pulled out. I heard a song blare from the limo that I recognized as "Mrs. Right" due to Kelsi.

"PRODIGY I LOVE YOU!" Kelsi screamed and I heard some other names out there, then I froze when I heard the name Princeton.

"Shit..." I mumbled to myself, trying to make my face unknown as they stepped out the limo. They smiled, and announced that they would be at the school for the whole week before they walked past the crowd. I grabbed Kelsi's arm and tried to rush into the school before he saw me, but I guess wasn't fast enough.

"Jay?" I heard behind me, and I walked faster. "Jay!" He called out again, but by then I was already in the school building. Kelsi hit me in the arm and I yelped. "What the hell was that for?!" She screeched and I covered her mouth. "Remember that guy I told you about? The one that left me to become a singer?" I asked lowly and she nodded. "Yeah. Wasn't his name Jacob or something?" She asked, wrinkling her nose. "...It's Princeton. That's him." I mumbled. Her mouth formed a perfect 'o' and her eyes widened. "That's him?! The Jacob Perez?" She said loudly and I covered her mouth again. "Yeah, that's him...let's go before he finds me again." I groaned and walked to class as the bell rung.

-Princeton's POV-

"Yo, that's the girl you was talking about?" Ray asked as we waved at the fans in the hallway. I nodded and shoved my hand in my pocket. "That's her. Jassy Jay." I said, a bit bummed. Roc shook his head as we took our schedules from the principal. "Man, you gotta let her go." Prodigy nodded his head in agreement. "I tried, but I can't. Ain't nothing I can do." I shrugged, comparing the schedules. First period math with Prod... "Then you gone have to keep on missing her." Roc and Ray walked to their class as I walked to homeroom with Prod.

The teacher smiled and rushed over to introduce us. "Class, we have a special guest today! Meet your very own, Mindless Behavior!" The girls began squealing as we smiled. "Take a seat wherever you like." I looked around the room and saw that the only seats availiable were behind a bubbly blonde girl and...Jay. She noticed me staring and buried her head in her hands. I casually took the seat behind her and she scooted her desk up further. "Jay..." I whispered and she turned around and glared at me. "Excuse me, jackass, I'm trying to learn." She whispered harshly and turned back around. I looked towards Prod and he shook his head. I sighed and tried to focus on copying the notes. This was going to be a long day.
