Here it is you guys!!! Again thank you so much for being patient! I'm sorry to say this, but only one more chapter until the series is over :( I hope you all enjoyed this so far and I can't wait to tell you what 'really' happens to the final prince. Happy reading and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
Flounder and Ariel looked at me. Ariel had silver tears staining her face.
“My father disowned me and the only thing you care about is trying not to kiss me? You’re such a monster!” yelled Ariel.
“Man what is with you chicks? The second you see a guy, you think he’s your true love and that he’s going to carry you away on a white horse into the sunset? It sure didn’t happen to Snow White so don’t even think about it happening to you!” I retorted, pointing my finger at her.
Ariel whimpered and swam off, bawling like a baby. I scowled and turned around. I yelped when I came face to face with Flounder. Her hands were curled into claws and she looked ready to scratch my skin off of my face.
“You heartless, poor excuse for a temporary merman! You think that you have the right to tell Ariel, a girl who has been cursed since the day she was born, who was disowned and sent to the sea witch, that she has no right to have a happy ending? Well let me tell you something ‘Brad Pitt’; you’re acting always sucked and you just lost a fan. Goodbye and good riddance!”
Flounder flipped her blue hair, smacking me in the face. She swam the same way Ariel did, not looking back at me.
“Psh whatever. I don’t care-“
Then realization hit me; I did treat Ariel like trash. Oh no…
I started to swim back but then someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around, screamed, then groaned.
“You really need to quit scaring me like that Ariel.”
She giggled, all signs of her previous sadness gone.
“Didn’t you just..?” I asked, indicating to the way she left.
“I’m psychic, so I knew how you would react.”
“So why did you leave in the first place?”
“…so about me going above land for three days, like we agreed…” she said, changing the subject.
“Not so fast; what’s this I gotta kiss you thing?”
Ariel’s face turned as red as her hair.
“You know…every spell has a catalyst and this potion’s catalyst happens to be true love’s kiss.”
“I kinda saw it…in a vision…” she said, twirling a strand of her hair.
This chick was insane if she thought I was her true love.
“We were on land…holding hands…walking into the sunset. And then BAM! It happened,” she said.
“You know that not all visions come true, right?”
“Yeah…Eric please you’re my only hope.”
She looked at me with her owl eyes again. Man seriously, someone needed to make a ‘shrink your eye size’ potion.
“Okay I’ll help you FIND your true love. No more, no less.”
“YAY!! Thank you thank you thank you!”
She hugged me, nearly crushing my insides.
“Okay let go…Ariel come on-haha I’m ticklish on my sides-STOP IT!!”
Ariel giggled and let me go. I dusted myself off, running my hand down my tail as I did so.
“Ow! Stupid scales…”
“Oh and here’s something for you, as a thank you gift.”
Ariel smiled and handed me a clam. I raised an eyebrow.
“You open it smart,” she said, gently nudging me. I opened it and my mouth dropped open.
“No way…how did you-oh you’re psychic that’s why.”
Ariel smiled and nodded.
“So you like it?”
“You kidding me? I’ve been looking for a mini replica of the Flying Dutchman for 3 years now. Wow it even looks like the actual thing…the detail is incredible!”
“Yeah funny…ha ha ha…” Ariel said in monotone, looking around for people.
“Yeah I’m fine. Come on I have to take you to the sea witch.”
“Whoa can’t you just take the potion now and we can be on our way?”
“No she has the potion with her, locked somewhere. She won’t let me get near it.”
“Oh. Okay then off to the sea witch it is.”
