Jackson's Log: December 21, 2033 6:00am Boston

It's mourning again. Since that explosion, I would be surprised if 

I saw the Sun again. Hmm, "the sun is the energy to life my ass." I 

was three at the time, I still remembered that day. They said if we 

could create a miniature version of the sun on Earth. We could replace 

gasoline powered cars with organic solar powered cars, and have an 

unlimited source of energy. Now look at us. After that explosion most 

of us died. Others became monsters or just normal looking humans that 

where actually mutated on the inside causing REC(radioactively 

excelled cancer)that grew at unnatural speeds. Killing over 2,000 

people in a single week. Only the lucky ones survived unchanged or 

harmed. Like the government and the government basins all over the 

world. Who were deep in the Earth in bunkers where the radioactive 

rays couldn't reach them. You see they were prepared just incase 

something like this would happen. Refusing to tell the public that 

there was a 92% chance that the experiment would end in a super nova 

that could end all of life itself. Well I'm one of the unlucky lucky 

ones. I survived the explosion without developing REC or become a 

three eyed boogie man; but I was granted with the superhuman ability 

to teleport. That's not important right now. For there's a war out 

there between mutants(monsters, etc) and humans.(the government, 

etc)Even though I should be on the mutants side. I'm actually working 

as a sniper for the government to return the Earth to its former 

state before the explosion. The planet has been demolished. 

There's no trees, wild life, and there's a fog of poisonous gas. 

After all that pollution and global warming our ozone layer is 

completely gone. Meteorites are always crashing destroying town, 

cities, even states. Schools that used to be filled with children are 

now empty. The oceans levels have raised due to the melting of the ice 

caps. People have gone insane trying to survive. Some are so desperate 

that they've made the not-so-difficult choice to go cannibal. The rich 

have constructed a city above what's left of Earth's surface called 

the Upper City. The poor and mutated have lived in mediocre shakes, 

huts, etc. Anything under the Upper City is called the Slums. The Sun 

has doubled its temperature. I live within the government training 

facility. Where it's safe from the pollution and mutants of the Slums.

well... today I...... graduated from Junior Sniper to General Sniper. 

Before we could graduate we had to go through a three stage course. 

It was quit simple actually. For the first course you had to run 

through a narrow path as fast as we could. Now it may sound simple. 

The only thing is that as you are running semi automatic machine guns 

are controlled by the Master computer pops out of the wall. Which is 

slowly moving closer together. So you have to dodge every bullet and 

the Master Computer ( that controls every system such as air supply 

and it helps protect us from meteor showers and the extreme heats)has 

almost perfect accuracy about a 99.9099908609 accuracy rate. Not that  

good but exceptional. I got shot maybe once or twice nothing severe. 

Today stuff like cancer, liver disease, or and diseases are like cuts 

on the elbow. One shot and those once deadly incurable diseases are 

gone. So imagine how unthreatening a few gun shots are. Except for 

head shots. Which is what the Master Computer always gets kills for. 

Good thing I can teleport. I would be dead right when I went through 

the lifting door.
