Epilogue

This is the last chapter since this is a short story but don't worry there will be a sequel. :D

My palms were sweating, my knees were shaking and my heart was beating like a crazy bird trying to get in a house through a closed window. My results would be in any moment now and I was scared as hell. What if I had Cancer? or a very dangerous flu? or worse... Leukemia?

My heart would stop for a second at the thought of it. Ginger sat beside me in the waiting room with a serious expression. She was also worried for my sake, everyone was even Andrew and he was already on the plane with Amber just to check up on me if I was okay. I could tell Amber would be so annoyed by now. Ginger then looked at me and gave a weak smile and put her hand on my shoulder and gently squeezed it, "Everything's gonna be fine sweetheart" trying to cheer me up.

Nothing was able to cheer me up except Andrew's kisses. but we all know that it will never happen again.

"Mrs. Hawkins!" the nurse called out, I stood up and corrected her "It's Ms Hawkins" I wasn't married, she just gave me a very fake smile and said "The doctor may see you now" I rolled my eyes at her then Ginger said "Good luck sweetheart and please do tell me your condition" as she gave me a quick hug. I took a deep breath before I entered the doctor's office looking like a dog with her ears down scared at anything that came near her.

Once I got in the office I looked over to see the doctor standing at a counter reading some papers "Please Mrs. Hawkins do sit" his voice echoed through the room. "It's Ms. Hawkins" I corrected him as I sat down on the small bed that was made for hospitals, he lifted up his head so his eyes were staring at me and he said "My apologies, what a shame for a beauty like you not yet wed" making me blush. The doctor was old though, he was old enough to be my father.

"Well Ms. Hawkins--" but before he could even finish I interrupted him by blurting out "Is it Cancer?" the doctor then let out a merrily laugh and said "Heavens no Ms. Hawkins. what makes you think that?" I blushed, obviously embarrassed at my words then I said in a soft voice "It's just that I have never felt this weak before and it's new to me so... it must be something I never had before and something serious" he gave me a warm smile "Well it is definitely something you never had before since you are not married and it is something serious but at the same time not" he said making my head hurt. I was confuse. I looked at him trying to get the answer through his expression but I could see nothing. He looked at me seriously as if his expression said seriously? You can't guess?

"Ms. Hawkins You're Pregnant"

End.
