Ellie's POV

"I'm going to shave your eyebrows off in your sleep" I said to Susie attempting to rub the sleep out of my eyes.

"Oh shove off, this is amazing! We're going to fucking beach resort and you're pissed about waking up?" Susie exclaimed. "Though I can understand with bimbo over there not knowing how to shut up" she pointed her finger towards my sister flirting with one of the guys coming on the trip, who's girlfriend is Payton's friend. I slapped the side of her arm and she laughed.

"Hey! I didn't want to come on this trip and I should have you know- Are you even listening to me?" I turned to see she was at the coffee shop near our gate buying a latte. She sheepishly smiled and handed me a coffee. "You're lucky I like you" I teased. She laughed and waved me off. I turned to grab my bag and bumped into a wall. Scratch that, I meant a person, he grabbed me by the shoulders and steadied my fall. When I looked up to see those captivating green eyes holding me in place I only had one thought.

How can someone look so hot in casual clothes?!

Cole wore a black shirt hugging his biceps with an unbuttoned plaid shirt rolled up to his elbows and denim jeans which seemed to hug his tush.

Did I seriously just say tush? What the hell is happening to me!!

I blushed and quickly walked away from him, I couldn't keep torturing myself with a mind plagued with thoughts about him and him alone. I shook my head and spoke with Susie.

Before I knew it we had boarded the plane, to my luck guess who was siting beside me?
Ding-ding CORRECT... It's Cole.

I was too scared to notice the fact he was staring at me. I had always been deathly afraid of planes, I mean accidents are most likely during take off!

"I wish I had my books with me, I wish I had my books with me" I mumbled under my breath over and over again.

"Why? Books suck" Cole said. I slowly turned my head with menace glinted in my eyes, he had just unleashed my inner book loving monster.

Cole's POV

I was staring at Ellie's facial expression as she scrunched up her nose and close her eyes impossibly tight. I watched as her small hands trembled while she clutched onto the armrests of her seat almost digging her nails into the top.

I suddenly had an idea as I heard her mumbling about books under her breath. "Why? Books suck" I said with a smirk.

She slowly turned and narrowed her eyes at me. "I'm sorry what was that you said?"

"Books suck" I enunciated.

"Books do NOT suck!"

"Yes they do"

"No they don't"

"Why don't they suck?"

"Are you kidding me? They're all these amazing words which come together and spin a tale that you imagine and visualize in your mind!" She exclaimed moving her hands frantically.

"But I could just watch a movie and not put in the effort"

"No no no you're getting it all wrong, the book allows you to feel so much more, you can know how everyone feels, their inner most thoughts, desires and more! Where as in movies you have to guess most of the time" She huffed and crossed her arms facing me with a look of triumph.

I looked towards the window beside her, "We've taken off by the ways" I smirked again as I tuned towards my phone
