Hello everyone. it's Jayne. I decided to get down to writing Chapter Eleven, so yeah. XP

It really was a beautiful day. The sky was blue, the clouds were white, and okay, maybe it was a little on the warm side, but that just gave couples an excuse to wear skimpy clothes and get away with annoyingly red blushes. The Cafe de la Rose was crowded with couples, laughing and joking away. And here I was, looking like an idiot sitting by myself in the middle of the Cafe. He didn't even have the decency' to call and say, "Sorry, Lex. Can't make it today."

He stood me up.

I really couldn't believe it. I mean, we had just barely begun seeing each other, and now this idiot decides to invite me for a date, so I go and think 'Oh, he's being so sweet!'.

Then he has the guts to stand me up.

I dug my phone out of my bag and hit speed-dial. Ash D-Bag flashed on the screen as it rang his number. He didn't pick up, even though this was my third time trying in the last hour. Did he not care that my pride had basically been stomped on? Was this a joke to him as well? Hell, maybe Nate had dared him to say he liked me. Yeah, that was totally logical.

I was about to swallow the broken shards of my pride and march out of the shop with my head held high when my phone started buzzing in my hand. My leart leaped, then plummeted again. I hit recieve. "Hello Nathan." I said into the phone as I continued the walk of shame out of the restaurant. Couples were shooting me pitying expressions.

"'Ey. I'm bored. You wanna do something?"

"Depends. If it involves the murder of a certain blonde individual, I wouldn't mind."

"Ah. Well, I guess I could use some help with my plan. I was thinking to go the whole Jaws style and add piranhas to his pool."

I couldn't help it, I laughed as I stepped out onto the sidewalk. Only Nate could make me laugh right now. "Nah, he doesn't swin anyway. You wanna pick me up? I'm kind of having a shitty day."

"Where you at?"

"The Cafe de la Rose."

There was silence on the end of the line, and then, "Ouch. I can't believe he did that."

"I know right."

"Well, if it's any help." Nate said. "I'm right here." And he was. His car magically appeared in front of me. I clapped accordingly. "Thank you, thank you." He said as he got out of the driver's seat and walked up in front of me. He eyed me from head to toe. "Can't imagine why he'd stand up someone as pretty as you."

I just shook my head, slipping past him and getting in the car. Nate got back in beside me, firing up his Aston Martin. "Why'd you bring such a flashy car?"

He snorted "I always drive this car. So where do you wanna go, Pretty Girl? Today, I shall be at your disposal."

"Well." I said "I don't know if I want to be seen anywhere with you when you're looking like that."

Nate glanced down at his Polo shirt and khakis, then back up at me. He smirked as he said "I know. I'm just too handsome to be seen with you."

I snorted and opted to keep quiet and not add to his overly large ego. We drove the rest of the ride in silence, aside from the music playing from the stereo. It was soft, and from I couldn't catch many of the words. Though I was pretty sure it was a foreign language. Nate noticed me listening and turned up the music just in time to belt out-
