Chapter 26: The End?

(Erica's POV)

I've been pregnant for five months now, and I'm at the hospital because my water broke. I've been here over seven hours, I tried to stay calm, and not bitch at anybody these past five months, and I think I did a pretty good job of it. The sides Kai was WAY worse throwing orders around like no tomorrow, even at ME. But then I had to constantly remind him that I was the pregnant lady, and not the other way around.

"Your water broke seven hours ago! Why the fuck is it taking SO long!?" Kai growled.

I rolled my eyes and sighed, I was here in pain and he was complaining that it was taking too long.

"It's your fault you know, for not telling him if you're having a girl or boy" Sarah giggled.

I growled  at her.

"I don't even know, I WANTED it to be a surprise" I sneered.

"Relax CassieBaby" Mattie smirked from across the room.

I smiled at him because I knew he just wanted to lighten the mood, especially with this much tension in the room.

Kai then growled and lunged for his throat, pinning him to the hospital wall.

I then lost my temper, the temper I've been trying to control ever since I found out I was pregnant.

"GET THE FUCK OUT KAI. EVERYONE ELSE TOO, EXCEPT MATTIE'S PACK!" I roared.

"What the fuck do you mean get out? I'm the father of your child, you can't kick me out" He roared back getting all in my face.

I slightly moved back in my hospital bed because he looked so angry I was actually scared.

Just then he was pulled back from my face, and pushed against the wall.

"Listen here bud. We've been taking your shit for the last five months because of ERICA, but now you've gone too damn far. Instead of caring about her, you went all protective asshole mode on everyone including her, she doesn't need an asshole, she needs her mate. Now listen to what she told you, go cool the fuck off, come back and you better not be an ass because I guarantee half if not more of the people in this room would help me beat your stupid ass down. Got it ass?" Matt roared.

There was a silence.

"He's right Kai, you've just been causing her stress lately" Brian rushed Kai out of the room, along with the rest of the pack.

My heart ached a little bit because really I just wanted him to be with me right now, just not all bitchy and bossy.

Tears started pouring out of my eyes, and rolling down my cheek, only to be wiped away by Matt's thumb.

"Listen, he'll realize his mistakes, and if he doesn't you don't need him" He mumbled in my ear in a soothing way.

Slowly I drifted to sleep, and snuggled into the hospital pillow.

I slowly drifted back to reality, and realized that only Kai was in the room now without opening my eyes.

I slowly opened my eyes, to face a pair of blue ones.

 "Look baby, I'm really sorry I've been acting over protective of you lately, it's just I don't want anyone else near the baby, or you" He breathed.

"Mhm" I nodded my head.

I guess I understood that, I mean one time Kai and I went to the mall and some girl started flirting with him, I felt the urge to kill her. No, not cuss, or beat her up, legit, kill her.

"How are you feeling baby?" He said while rubbing circles on my palm. 

I smiled. 

"Much better now. Yourself Mr. Alpha?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Good now that I'm with you" He smiled and got up to kiss my forehead.

Just then I felt more kicking in my stomach, and a lot of pressure. 

I groaned "I-I think it's happening!" I yelled.

"What's happening?" Worry was written all over his face.

What an idiot.. 

"THE BABY IS COMING FOOL! WHAT ELSE!" I roared.

He stood there panicked and shocked then the doctors rushed in.

"It's time to push!" The doctor said.

Kai grabbed my hand, and started whispering softly in my ear, to calm me down a bit. 

* Three Hours Later * 

"You have a beautiful baby girl" The doctor announced while wrapping our baby girl in a towel.

Kai took the baby in his arms, and just looked at her.

"This is the prettiest thing I've ever seen" He whispered and kissed the babies forehead.

Like the two year old I was, I yelled "LET ME SEE! LET ME SEE!" and frowned.

"Calm down babe" He said while putting the angelic looking girl into my arms.

"She's.... Beautiful" I was lost for words.

"What are we going to name her?" He smiled.

"I don't know maybe Reine?" (Pronounced like "Ree" "n". 

"How about Alexis-Reine Spaven" He smiled at me.

"I like the sound of that" I smiled.

Alex was his mother’s name, and Lexi's my aunts, and Reine for my mom. Sounded Perfect to me.

* Fourteen Years Later * 

"Alexis-Reine, Dominic, and Matthew get down here for breakfast now!" Erica called.

Fourteen years later, and they had three children. 

One girl, and two boys. The girl looked mostly like her mom, she had deep blue eyes, long dark brown hair, and basically the same figure. The two twins took after their father, even though they're fraternal twins, they're both gorgeous. They're all fourteen years old because it takes five months for a wolf pregnancy, though technically Alexis-Reine is older. The boys both have Kai's blue eyes, muscular bodies, his perfect smile, except Dominic has dark brown hair, and Matthew has light brown hair, almost blonde. 

"Coming!" Called all three of them.
