“Nate? Where’d you go?” I called out. There was no answer. More howling sounded from a distance and I cringed away from the door way. I was all alone surrounded by werewolves!

“This is so just a dream. I’m going to wake up and find myself in my maths classroom with Candice looking at me in her creepy way and not in a scary werewolf way. Wake up, wake up, wake up!” I muttered to myself with my eyes shut tight.

I opened one eye a couple of seconds late to see if I was still in the same spot.  I was. “Dammit. I knew this was a bad idea.” I muttered to myself as I started to pack my stuff. I was getting out of here. I don’t care what Nate said.

“WHERE do you think you’re going?” I yelped in surprise as spun around to see Nate at the door way. Naked.

“EW! COVER YOURSELF YOU STUPID BOY!” I squealed while covering my eyes. I heard him chuckle and start to walk. I suddenly felt his warm breath near my ear. “Come on, I know you enjoyed the view. All girls do.”

“Ugh. You arrogant asshole. Just get dressed. I want to go home. This is creeping me out.” My eyes were still closed so I opened one to find him slipping in his boxers, his back to me. He had a really hot back.

“I actually think you’re enjoying yourself there.” He smirked and I snapped out of my haze. “Whatever just take me home. Wait, actually. What happened?” I asked.

He slipped on a shirt and sat on the bed then patted it, telling me to sit next to him. As soon as I sat, he began. “Dimitri told me the pack was under attack. See how I did that there?” he waggled his eyebrows at his little rhyme and I rolled my eyes before he continued, “It was one of the weak packs looking for some kind of power. We let them off with… a little warning.” His eye colour morphed to the green he had as a wolf but then changed back to normal.

Just then Candice walked in, a little out of breath. “Nate. We have a little… intruder. He’s young. Alec’s age. What do we do with him?” Alec was Jeremy’s 7 year old brother.

“Leave him be. Tell Dimitri to give a warning before you let him go though. Do it in front of the young ones so they know the consequences of trespassing. And Candice, please stop humping your mate as a werewolf.” Candice waggled her eyebrows at me then nodded at Nate and left.

“What do you mean when you say ‘a little warning’?” I asked.

“Nothing you should know until you become a part of our pack.” Nate growled. I threw him a glare and he gave me a confused look. “You’re not cringing. You’re supposed to cringe from fear when I growl.” He stated in confusion.

“Do I look like one of your Muppets? Okay, if you growled as a werewolf, I would be shaking with fear right now. But you didn’t. You just look retarted when you growl as a human.” I stated with a smile.

He put his hand on his chest and pretended to be offended. “I’m hurt. You hurt me. My heart has shattered into a million pieces.” He said dramatically.

I rolled my eyes and pushed him playfully. “Shut up you loser. I want to go home now seriously. I’m dead tired and we have school tomorrow.” I reminded him.

“Oh, I forgot to mention this to you… you’re sleeping here tonight.” He said once I got up.

“What?! No! My parents are probably dead worried right now!” I exclaimed.

“Relax. My mum explained our situation. Apparently you’re great grandmother was in a similar situation before she passed away.”

“Wait, so I’m a werewolf?” I asked in confusion.

“Didn’t you know? You have the blood of the Thompson’s. Very powerful. Too bad you’re only a descendant. You can’t transform until you mate.” He explained. “Speaking of mating… let’s get started, shall we? I can show you a night your cute virgin ass will never forget.” He winked.

“Ugh. You creep. I’m not sleeping here tonight. Take me home. Now.” I demanded.

“I can’t. Not tonight. Just stay. I won’t try anything I promise.” I looked at him unsurely and he looked like he meant it. “Okay. But just for tonight. What do I sleep in? And more importantly, where do I sleep?” I asked.
