Looking across the field everything is in utter chaos.  the livestock have all fallen dead, men are pierced by their own spears.  and women are crying as their children are ripped from their hands.  What on earth have I done?  All of this started with just one point of a finger signifying the direction I had come from, and now all my people are dying.  We are known as warriors, yet these men with their strange armor and and weapons come along and have destroyed everything I have ever known.  Looking back I watch as my mother chases after a man who had stolen my younger brother from her, I watch as the man swings out his blade slicing her throat, I watch as her blood runs free staining the ground, I watch as her eyes dim into nothingness and my brother screams, I watch as the man moves my brother, I watch as the man snaps his neck.  Horrified by the sight I fall to my knees and cry.

“You should be proud.”  A gruff voice speaks from above me.  Looking up I see the I had pointed the direction of my home to.  “You have further our path of growth.  You will be forever remembered.”  Getting onto my wobble feet I gripp onto a piece of cloth sticking from his armor and get into his face.

"This....this is nothing to be proud of!!!”

Laughing at me and swipes his hand knocking me back.  Stepping away from him  I slowly walk into the carnage until I find my fathers body.  Looking down I find the bow and arrow  my father and gathered at the beginning of the battle and take hold of them.  The least I could do is complete his quest.  Notching the arrow as best I can I draw back the string and aim at the sky.

“Whatcha doin kid?”   One of the people who killed my family speaks up.   Not sparing him a glance I release the string and watch as the arrow soars into the sky and bursts into light.

“What the hell!!”  The man shouts and before I can grab another arrow his blade is forcing its way into my gut and gone spilling my blood.  Falling to the ground I stare at the sky and watch as other arrows ascend from the forest making the night sky glow like an early sunrise.   Knowing our brothers got the message I smile to myself and let the darkness take me over and drown out my last breath.  This war has just begun.
