Present time

I woke up and didn't have a clue where I was. I tried to sit up but realized that I couldn't. I looked down and saw that I was in a bed with rails.
I noticed that I couldn't feel my arm so I looked over and saw that my arm was wrapped from the middle of my hand to just above my elbow.
I was completely confused and had no idea what was going on. Was I in a hospital? Just then a woman walked in started when she noticed I was awake.
She turned and went back out coming in again a few seconds later with a man in a white coat. A doctor, great so i am in a hospital; but what happened?
It was then that i realised the doctor had been speaking and I hadn't heard a word of what he said.
"Kyle? Did you hear me?"
"Sorry no, I didn't"
"That's ok, I said how are you feeling?"
"Fine?" I said it as a question because I didn't really know. i didn't even know why I was here or what happened.
"You don't sound so sure..." He smiled as if this was funny in some way.
"Well I'm not. I don't even know why I'm here... what happened?"
He looked confused for a snall second then smiled again hiding it.
"You don't remember what happened?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm pretty darn positive." I was getting seriously irritated now.
"Well ok then, no need to be rude."
"I'm not the one being rude doctor" I snarled the word doctor and glared at him.
He looked at the nurse and nodded and she left the room. I was instantly suspicous and I glared at the doctor some more.
"What was that about?"
He didn't answer me, just waited for the nurse to come back.
When she did come back she was holding a very large and fat needle with some clear liquid in it. I was instantly furious.
"What the hell is the meaning of this!?"
"Well Kyle you see, I don't particularly like the way you react to things... I think you are still very emotionally unstable. Therefore i am going to have you sleep some more."
With every word he said I was getting more angry. I wanted to jump up and start hitting him and wipe that aweful grin off his face.
I was so angry and too busy death staring the doctor that I hadn't noticed the nurse had came up beside my bed.
I felt an immense coldness in my arm and looked down to see an IV. My head snapped up to see the nurse had put the needle in the IV and was pushing the liquid in.
I silently cursed myself for not seeing her come over here. Then my vision started getting blurry and I looked back at the doctor.
"I hate y-" I couldn't finish because I couldn't move or speak anymore.
"Good night Kyle." Was the last thing I heard.
