One second.
A thousand milliseconds.
A million microseconds.
A billion nanoseconds.
Does it feel longer yet?
(That’s what she said)
One second.
The time between God saying let there be light and there being light.
The amount of time her eyes lingered on the screen as she read a text message.
Consequently, the same amount of time it took for her to swerve into oncoming traffic.
A billion nanoseconds:
"That’s how long it took for God to take my light, my daughter."
That’s what she said.
One second.
Your smile can change my day in.
One thousand milliseconds.
I revel in the taste of you for.
One million microseconds.
Then remember that it took only took you
One billion nanoseconds.
