Chapter 3

Two days to the party

11.00 a.m

I just got off the phone with Siobhan. Why is she lying to me? She said she was home when I could obviously hear road noises and she keeps saying she has stuff to do but can’t be bothered to tell what it is… I just wish she could be here with me! I have all this stuff with Murphy going through my head and all this awkwardness with Ali is killing me.

2:30 p.m

I can’t figure out what to wear tonight at “Centro 7”! It’s like my closet is full of useless rags! ARGHHH!

3:00 p.m

Murphy is calling! Murphy is calling!

3:05 p.m

Ali called me too, so I put Murphy’s call on hold but when I got rid of Ali’s call, Murphy was no longer there. Oh no, I didn’t mean to get him upset! I really had to take Ali’s call because everything’s so weird between us.

Don’t worry Aisling, it was probably just a connection thing.

So Ali wanted to know if it was OK for him to go see the Krew tonight. Of course it’s OK, I just want this stuff between us to go away. I really like him as a friend and I’m sure he just made a mistake by kissing me.

7:20 p.m

I just got to the club. I’m waiting with the Rosko character for the Krew guys.

7:40 p.m

Everything’s ruined! There’s no deal with the Krew! What am I going to do? DL from the Krew just laughed right at me when I said the charity party was at school.

Rosko was not helpful at all and as it turns out is not so much their manager as he is their water boy!

Apparently, he didn’t realize that the school party was at an actual school… Was there any other option?

8:00 p.m.

You won’t believe what happened! Murphy and Eavanne were kissing just now! Can this day get any worse? I’m so out of here.
