Abandoned Whispers

Prologue

I wake up, groaning and stiff. I had just had another beating for not making dinner on time. I stretch my arms and wince. Not a good idea.

"Luna! Get down here... NOW!!!!" my step dad shouted from down the stairs. I grimaced and whimpered.

"Coming!" I shouted back before speeding down the stairs in my pajamas. he grabs me by the arm and drags me into the kitchen roughly. I whimper.

"Shut up and start cooking!" he growls. I rub my arm where he dragged me and shuffle into the kitchen. I grab him a beer and open it, holding it out to him.

" dont get drunk," i mutter bravely. He lifts his hand and i immediatley shrink back. My wolf sulked in my mind. he's such an ass. why don't you hurt him? she mutters. I just shake my head at her mentally. My stepdad, john, lowers his hand.

"get cooking," he says low, threatingly. he takes a sip. I grab the pancake mix and a pan and start making the pancakes quickly.

I was eating my pancakes on the breakfeast counter when my mate comes up. he grabs at one. My wolf growls and i can't control myself. I growl and snap at him. his face turns to outrage. he slaps me across the face and i fall backwards, holding my cheek. He snatches two up and, glaring, comes over to me.

"Watch your wolf," he snarls before kicking me and walking out. I get up, shaky, and look at my plate. there's only half of one left. I gobble that up. My mate has rejected me. He beats me. Everyone in my pack either ignores, beats or is mean to me. well, except my mom(when she was alive), Clary and my friends, Simon and Mikayla. they're twins and both have black hair and hazel eyes. but Mikayla is shorter and more petite.

My mom has my dark brown hair.I'm the same, Except mine has black and dark reddish streaks. We have the same short, but hour-glass figure. but I wear drapy chlothes so my curves haven't developed well. Plus i have dull, dark blue eyes and hers are bright green ones. 

I stagger to the stairs. I look around the living room. some people are throwing me dirty glares, most ignoring me. I sigh and trudge up the stairs. I really miss my dad.
