So, here I am, sitting in History of Magic, bored out of my mind. The four boys decided to ditch today, so I was stuck here in the worst class ever invented practically falling asleep. The only reason I wasn't asleep was because that darling Lily kept nudging my arm to keep me awake.

"Lils, just let me sleep, I'm so...tired," I yawned widely to prove my point.

"No, Cory, this is important stuff. You have to know this," she argued, quickly scribbling down some more notes on the Goblin Wars or whatever they're called.

"But we learned this is fourth year, I think I already know it all."

"Just zip it."

"Fine, but if I get sent to the Hospital Wing for sleep deprivation, it's on your head."

"I think I can live with that," Lily responded. Fine then Lily. Let me go to the Hospital Wing, it'll be your fault just you wait. After about fourty more minutes of what I would call cruel and unusual punishment, we finally got to leave. And now, thankfully, I had my free period.

"SIRIUS ORION BLACK!!!" I yelled, racing through the hallway to catch up to him and the others.

"The third if I might add," he said, grinning cheekily at me.

"Oh, stuff it. You," I said, pointing an accusatory finger at him, "left me to die of boredom in Binns' class!"

"Sorry, Bambs, we had stuff to do," Sirius explained.

I just glared at him, making him cringe away from me. "That's right Black. Be afraid," I said, trying to make my voice sound as menacing as possible.

"Are you trying to scare me?"

"Yes."

"It's not working."

I scrunched my face up frustrated and turned my back on him, talking to James instead. "So, James, how's it going with Lily?"

"Great, she's absolutely amazing and beautiful and-"

I cut him off saying, "Oh please, tell me more." I turned my back on him too and started talking to Remus. "So, Remi, what's up?"

He raised an eyebrow at me, chuckling at James and Sirius, who were probably doing something extremely stupid behind me right now. "Nothing much. You might want to turn around though."

I whipped around, throwing both boys off balance, who had been trying to tape something to my robes. James glared at me before standing up. "I'm gonna get you, Daniels."

"Oh, I'm so scared," I said in a mocking tone. "Watcha gonna do? Go tell Lily on me? Because, frankly, she doesn't care what I get up to nowadays."

"No, that's not it at all." He smirked evilly before walking away, Remus and Peter following him.

"Should I be worried?"

"Yes, yes you should be," Sirius sighed and pulled me after them, glancing occasionally at me. "You kept your hair down again today," he commented randomly as we walked down the hallway, following the other three boys.

"Yeah," I said, tugging slightly on the ends. "Lily made me do it, god knows why."

"Well, I think it looks good," Sirius blushed once he said that and snapped his gaze around so he focused on straight in front of him.

I grinned slightly and asked, "Oh do you now? In that case, I think I'll leave it down more often." Sirius shot me a confused look while I mearly laughed at him. "I'm joking Paddy. I'm not gonna do something to myself just because somebody else wants me to." Honestly, Sirius could be really gullible at times.
