Daddy's Little Girl

The next day at school, I went up to talk to Lane. 

"Hey." I said. She looked at me. 

"Hi." she said then started walking away. I gently grabbed her arm. 

"Can I talk to?"

"No." she said so I let go of her arm and she started walking away again.  

"Your dad came over my house last night." I said.

She stopped and turned around. 

"He did?"

"Yeah." 

"What did he tell you?" she asked.

I smirked. 

"All this stuff about you being madly in love with me." 

"No he didn't." she said with a smile. 

"He said I make you happy."

"You do make me happy." she said putting her head down to hid that cute blush.

I lifted her head back up and smiled causing her to blush more. I kissed her. 

"Be my girlfriend." I said. 

"I'm not aloud." she said. 

"You have your dads permission." I said. 

"What about that girl you were talking to yesterday?"

"I don't even know her name. You got three seconds to answer or I'm gonna answer for you. One. Two."

"Okay." she smiled.

I kissed her again. 

"I have to go to class." she said against my lips. 

"No you don't." I said. 

"Yes she does. And so do you Mr. Miller." a voice said.

I turned around and saw it was the principle. 

"Right." I said. "I'll walk you to class." I said grabbing her hand and walking away from him. 

"No PDA!" he said. Lane giggled.

I walked her to her class then went to mine. The late bell rang just as I walked through the door. 

"Chace. Come earlier." 

"I was busy." I shrugged then sat down. 

The rest of the day went by rather quickly. It was one of those special days where I didn't have practice or work so I picked up Alyssa and went back home. 

"Alyssa. It's your nap time."

"No nap. I want to watch t.b."

"It's t.v and you can watch it when you wake up." 

"No now."

"Don't argue with me. If you're not in that bed in five seconds, the tickle monster is gonna come." I said.

Her blue eyes went wide.

"One. Two. Three. Four. Four and a half. Five." I said then went over to her. 

"No. I go sleep." she said.

I picked her up and started tickling her. I carried her to her bed and laid her in it. 

"Go to sleep princess." I said. 

"Tell me story." she pleaded.

So I told her the story of little red riding hood. She fell asleep half way through it. I covered her with her blanket then left her room. I did my homework.

After I was done, Alyssa woke up and wanted to go to the park. I dressed her in warmer clothes and we left. I decided to walk to the park. We passed Lane's house. I seen her car but not her dads so we went up and knocked. She answered the door and smiled. 

"Go get your coat." I said.

She listened and went and got it then the three of us went to the park. Alyssa loves Lane. 

"Daddy I go on them?" Alyssa asked and pointed to the swings. 

"You're to small." I told her. 

"Pweeeaasse." she asked.

This little girl reinvented the puppy dog look. 

"Fine. Come on." I said.

Lane laughed as I sat on the swing and put Alyssa on my lap. You would think they would have baby swings but they don't. 

"Faster daddy." she said and I listened to her.

Lane sat in the swing next to me. 

"She's a beautiful person." Lane said. I looked at her and she was looking at Alyssa. 

"She is." I said. 

"She's just so care free." she said. 

"Most little kids are."

"Daddy. I cold." Alyssa said. 

"Do you want to go home?" I asked her. 

"Yeah." she said. 

"Okay." I said stopping the swing. 

"Lane come too?" Alyssa asked.

I looked at Lane who was smiling.

"Of course she can." I said.

Then we went back to my house.

"Alyssa what do you want for dinner?" I asked her.

She was in the living room with Lane. 

"Ticken." she said. 

"Okay. What do you want with it?" 

"Tatoes." she said. 

"Come on Alyssa. Set the table." I said. 

"Okay daddy." she said.

Then I heard her little foot steps coming. I got down the plates.
