Bad Blood - Taylor Swift
" Did you have to hit me where I'm weak?"

Chapter Twelve
Carrisa

I don't know what could possibly make me more nervous. If it's standing in the middle of the classroom answering an exercise I don't know or sitting next to Aiden. I can hardly breath, I feel like a deer in headlights. Forget the deer, I feel like I'm in a jeep with the T-Rex roaming around.  I try to focus on class. I need to focus. This class is my achilles heel. It's finals next week.

But from the corner of my eye, I could see Aiden. He was leaning lazily against the wall. He looked so unimpressed and bored. I wondered how did he manage to understand the class so easily? He didn't even take any notes. He was wearing his leather jacket, and I wondered if he wore because of his tattoo. I couldn't help myself to replay all those incidents that seem to connect to that very specific tattoo that Aiden has. I wondered if he knew that I knew it was him. I wondered it if was dangerous for me, or my family...

God, I had so much in my mind. I couldn't stop worrying about how she was, and her drinking, and partying, and that evil guy who tried to take advantage of her. I was worried, if she was okay, If i was being a good sister, but not a selfish way, just want to be there for her. The guy who helped us, Sebastian, was it? He said nothing had happened, but what if it did? What if they took pictures? What if–

"Carrisa?" A voice called me back to reality. I realized at that moment, the classroom was empty. There was no one in the class, but Ellie and I. "You okay?"

"Excuse me," The teacher called us. "I need you to exit, I have a class to give."

"Y-yes," I answered embarrassed as I picked up my stuff as fast as I could. Ellie helped me. We left the classroom. Clearly, leaving with all the books in my hand and open pencil case was a bad idea, since they fell out of my hand into the ground.

"Dang it," I groaned as I reached to the ground for them.

"Let me help you," a familiar voice spoke. I glanced to the side to meet the sweet boy who had helped Serenity at the party. A smile formed upon my lips.

"Oh, thanks." I said embarrassed, "The Gheller family keeps bugging you."

Sebastian's head raised up, giving me a better look at him, my eyes widen. He was very good looking. It was as if he was made out of pastel colors. His features' tones were soft colors, his skin was pale as in a soft creamy white color, he had honey colored eyes and light brown haired. He also had a good facial structure with really nice cheekbones invaded with soft pink blush. Sebastian managed to give off this boyish smile.

"Oh," He chuckled. He handed me out my things. "You're the girl's sister from the party?"

How does he not know who Serenity is?

"Are you new?"

"Yeah. Newly transfer to freshman year."

Thought so.

"I'm gonna have to go, but hopefully we'll run into each other again." He smiled for the last time. There was something particular about his smile. I mean, his smile was very pretty, but it somehow felt artificial.

"Oh," I said as I finally came back to reality. I blushed embarrassed. "I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting. Thanks for picking my stuff and saving my sister."

"Oi, if you keep staring you're going to get a restraining order." Ellie whispered in my ear, I jumped. "Someone has a crush? You're all red Carrisa Gheller. Who's the guy?"
