This story will be uploaded frequently since most of it is already typed up and ready to go after a quick edit or two. So be prepared to see a lot of them! =D

And I promise, Draco will be in it soon. =P

Also, since so many people have been being kind of jerks to my friend about "ripping it off" or "plagiarizing," my best friend MrsDButler and I wrote this chapter together. This story and hers (After All This Time) were written in tandem with each other and we wanted to each show our own characters perspective on this scene. This was done on purpose. We wrote it together. We know the other story and scene exists. We appreciate the concern, but it is not needed. Thanks!

"I spent my whole life choosing and I always chose wrong." –Hear Me Now, Hollywood Undead

Audrey sat and watched as five of her Quidditch teammates gathered around her in the common room. All had the same anxious look upon their faces; none knew precisely why Audrey had called the meeting in the first place, even she was finding it difficult to figure out. Once everyone had settled down, Audrey decided to begin.

"Good evening," Audrey greeted, nervously. "I'm sure you're all wondering why I have called you here." She paused, but when no one spoke, she decided to continue. "I'm very concerned about Draco. He's not here, and we need him. I was wondering if any of you had heard from him."

A daft, pudgy boy named Crabbe spoke up first. "Not at all. Last I heard he was staying home this year. Said he had some 'business' to attend to."

Audrey didn't like the sound of that. "Did he ever say if he was coming back?"

Crabbe's friend, Goyle, spoke up next. "He never said if he planned on it or not."

"It is rather odd that he would just take off like that without telling me," a black-haired girl said.

Audrey gave the girl a stern look for a moment before speaking. "Well, Pansy," Audrey began, "I doubt he would've told you, his ex-girlfriend, much of anything in the first place."

Pansy went to say something but was cut off. "Point of the matter is, we can't play this season without a seeker," a boy said with a slightly Russian accent.

            "Precisely, Vladimir," Audrey agreed.

"And you saw all the kids who tried out for it last year," another girl said. "We can't possibly win without him. This is our year to take it all."

"Nikita has a point," Goyle replied. "We need Malfoy."

"Someone has to find him," Crabbe agreed.

Audrey frowned. "Well, I must say I have the highest grades. I can afford to miss school." She paused for a moment, debating something over in her head. "I can go find him."

"Why do you get do it? You're not even close to him!" Pansy protested.

"Neither are you," Audrey stood up. "Unlike you, I can still graduate if I drop a few grade levels. I'm doing this for the team."

"Are you sure you can find him? I mean, we don't even know where he is," Vladimir asked. "It's taking a lot out of your own life and all."

Audrey didn't hesitate. "Yes. I'll start my search at the manor. I figure that would be a great starting spot."

"You can sneak out at tomorrow's visit to Hogsmeade," Nikita pointed out. "No one will notice if you slip out."
