Corvette's POV

I closed my eyes asI held Kria in my arms, and suddenly a flashback entered my hazy mind

We were both bleeding that day...and the rain was pouring hard

"Come here you little sneaks!" the woman cursed under her breath. Helena and I were cornered as we held onto each other, trembling with the coldness of the wind seeping in our bones.

"Corvette! Don't let me go!" tili ng kakambal ko ng hilahin siya ng babae mula sa akin at dali dali ko siyang hinila pabalik. Kinagat ko kamay ng babae na humawak sa kakambal ko ng may tubo na pumalo sa babae. It was Rigid. Isa sa mga batang kasama naming nakidnap. Tulad namin ay duguan din ito.

"Tara na!" he said pero dahil hinang hina na si Helena ay binuhat siya ni Rigid sa likuran niya bilang mas matanda ito sa amin pero wala kaming tatakbuhan. Despite our young age, Rigid and I fought to survive that was when a man grabbed my twin sister at tinutukan siya ng baril. At napasuko kami ni Rigid.

Dumating ang babae kanina at sinaksakan ng heringilya ang kakambal ko as Helena screamed in pain saka ito nawalan ng ulirat

"HELENA!!!!!" sigaw ko pero wala akong magawa. In the end we were taken back to the laboratory.

Take me away from this place now...Helena... I mused

"Corvette?" a voice disrupted my senses at sumambulat sa akin ang mukha ni Kria. She's not Helena. I smiled saka ko dinampian ng halik ang bumbunan niya at saka ko siya dahan dahang pinakawalan but I held her hand.

"Ihahatid na kita pauwi" I said

"Umm s-sure" she said, at ng lumayo siya sa akin ay bigla akong nakaramdam ng pagkahilo. Oh no not again. Kinapa ko ang gamot ko sa bulsa ko pero I couldn't find them.

"Argh" I grunted as pinagpawisan ako, not these episodes again. Helena...

"Corvette! A-ano'ng nangyayari sa'yo?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Kria

Images kept flashing before my head, napahawak ako sa noo ko. No...No...

There were tubes...wires...syringes...scalpels...Helena's scream...

No no no please! Make it stop! Piping dasal ko.

"Corvette!" narinig ko pang sigaw ni Kria before everything went dim.

Kria's POV

Narito pa din kami sa eskuwelahan at sinusubukan kong tawagan si Hellene. But drat! her phone was off. Although I managed to deposit Corvette in his cars' backseat kahit ilang beses akong nadapa dahil sa bigat nito.

Isinara ko ang pinto at binuhay ang makina ng sasakyan para mai-on ang aircon, pinagpapawisan ito naupo ako sa tabi niya at pinunasan ng panyo ko ang pawis niya habang malalim itong humihinga.
