TECHNO (A Roc Royal Story) [E D I T I N G]

I was so happy yesterday that there were only 6 days left 'til my birthday that I was dancing in the rain. Literally. I had to walk home twice in the pouring rain in one 2 hour period. #MyLife

Princeton (Prince):

“If one more person jumps on my back—“ I was interrupted by Roc plunging me into the water.

As soon as I got up I yelled. “Yo , are you serious ?! Anyone else who dunks me is a dea—“

Once again , big surprise , I was interrupted by a plunge into the water. I resurfaced to see Chyna laughing her butt off. “What are you gonna do , Prince ?”

“This.” I leaped on her back and she carried me around while I waved like the Prince I am to the peasants.

They all cracked up laughing.

"How dare thou laugh as thys prince ?!"

“Pause guys. . .” Ariel said. “Ray’s sleeping.”

We looked over to see a sleeping Ray. He was lying on one of those long pool side recliners since he couldn’t swim until his cast was off.

“Are y’all thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’ ??” Prod asked , smiling slyly.

We all nodded in agreement , matching his smile.

“Okay on three we’ll all splash him. ‘Kay ?”

“Got ya TB.” Ariel said and he smiled.

“1. . ..2. . .3 !” All of us joined together to form a huge wave that splashed Ray ,  drenching him.

“I didn’t loose your Boondocks Season 1 DVD , Roc !” He yelled , looking back and forth. “Yo what in the world guys ?? I look like I went swimmin’!"

“Wait , is that why I can’t find it ?”

“Uhm. . .So bye.” He dashed out.

Roc climbed out the pool and ran after him , shirtless and flinging water everywhere.

“Uhm , okay ?” Nia said.

“Soo how ‘bout those pancakes ?”

 We all looked at Prod like he was on crack.

“Dang , guys . .” He put up his hands innocently.

Ariel (Ari):

Later , all of us were sitting in the living room , with empty bellies , and fly gear on. Know why we’ve been sitting here , hungry for 15 minutes ? No ? Well these people can’t decide where to go for dinner. Keisha and Walter were even annoyed.

I groaned and slid down in my chair. “C’mon guys , this is taking forever and five days.”

“And five days ?” Chyna asked , raising an eyebrow.

“Yes.” I gave her a straight face.

“Were in New York for Christ sakes ! We have to go get some pizza.” Prince rolled his eyes.

“Nah bro. Remember that burger joint we went to last time ? We need to go there.” Roc shook his head.

“If a brotha doesn’t get some chicken , it will get real in here quick.” Prodigy complained.

“All of y’all are on some crack.” Ray started , but Keisha gave him a look. “I mean all of y’all are cray. We need to get some fries.”

“Why are you even arguing , Ray ? You can get fries , like , anywhere.” I said.

“But some aren’t as good as others.” Nia pointed out.

I looked at her like ‘shut – up – before – I – backhand – you’ “Shut up before I backhand you.”

“You.” Ray pointed at me. “Sit.”

“Ray , you—“

“OKAY. Olive Garden it is. Let’s go guys.” Keisha clapped her hands , opening the door for everyone to file out.


[Later, at Olive Garden...]

I felt a tap on my shoulder. “Ariel ?”

I turned my head to see no one other than my sister with 3 girls behind her. “Eve ?!”

“Eve ?” The boys echoed.

Chyna and Nia looked on with their brow slightly raised. “Eve ?”

“Yes , it’s me.” She leaned down and hugged me. “It’s great to see you sis. You haven’t called mom or me all week.”

“My bad. I was just busy.” I looked behind her to see the girls eyeing MB. “Who are they  ?”

“Oh this is Ariyan , Tierra , and Lila. They’re my old friends from when I had to go to juvie that one month.” She calmly said.

Princeton choked on his bread stick and Roc and Prod were holding back laughs.

Tierra said. “Hello again Princeton.”
