Friday Morning

"I have a press conference in a little while and then lunch with the winner of the contest and then it's hair, make-up and wardrobe before I hit the red carpet and then I head backstage until I perform." Austin gasped for air after that sentence. I giggled and rummaged through my closet for the perfect outfit to wear.

"I can't wait. It's gonna be so much fun." After finding a blue high-low skirt and a white top to match, I layed the outfit across my bed and hurried over to my computer.

"Have you heard anything else from TMZ?"

"I just got a mention from them. They're speculating I'm going to arrive with you and we're going to be lovey dovey," We both laughed.

"How do they make all these assumptions from a simple picture on Instagram?" I could tell he was smirking on the other end of the line. Before I could answer he quickly told me he had to go and couldn't wait to see me tonight. And the line went dead.

Truth is, I couldn't wait to see him either. Then again I didn't want to have to see Colson and his new girlfriend up close and personal. This is going to be a long day..

Friday Afternoon

"Talia, can you just finish curling my hair? Thank you," I groaned as Talia rolled her eyes. I will never understand why she just talks and talks and she knows that no one is listening to her. Especially not me. After a few minutes of silence, I jumped a little when Talia spoke up.

"So how do you feel about Colson going with his new girlfriend?" My fingers froze and I stared into the mirror. How did I feel about his new girlfriend? Yeah, I wasn't looking forwad to seeing them together, but I guess I wouldn't really know how I felt about them being together until I saw them up close.

"Why should I care?" I cleared my throat and continued scrolling through my Twitter feed.

"Well you guys were pretty serious." She released another curl from the wand and sprayed hair sheen.

"Exactly. We were. Now Colson has moved on with Shaye German and I have moved on with Austin. So everything's fine." I shrugged, hoping that was enough of an answer for Talia so she would stop talking and just finish my hair!

Finally, after another hour, Talia finally finished my hair. I fixed my make-up and sat in my quiet room. The Tv wasn't on, the radio wasn't on, Twitter wasn't open on my computer, nothing. The only sound was from the cool breeze flowing in through the open window.

I couldn't text Austin, he was at a press conference. And I couldn't text Gwen or Piper because, via TMZ, they left a party drunk off-their-asses last night and were most likely hung over and passed out. The only person I could talk to , was Colson. But after our blow-out in the elevator, would he want to talk to me? Would he even look at me?

My question was answered when my phone buzzed and the name 'Colson ^,^' (don't judge me for not changing his name, it's my phone!) popped up on the screen.

'Do you have time to talk? -Colson'

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. With all of this speculation going around, the paparazzi is no doubt on his ass, everywhere he goes, every move he makes.

'Paparazzi is everywhere.. -Hayden'

After only a few seconds my computer chimed and on the screen was a video chat request. I sat down in the chair and clicked 'Accept'.

Colson was alone in the room. I could tell because there was no extra sounda coming from the background, you could hear a pin drop in that room. He just stared into the camera for a few minutes before smiling a little.
