The hunter chapter 10

I ran up the hill that stood before me and stared off into the horizon. There was no house before me, nothing just hills and some more hills. Right there was no wooden cabin anywhere. I wasn't going fast enough, I wish I could change it would be so much easier. Ahh, well I can't so there is no point wishing  

I could. I ran for about a mile and a half when I saw a little black dot on the horizon. I quickened up y pace and raced for the dot that was getting closer every minute. For just a moment I felt free, but only for a moment. I finally reached the cabin and then I turned left.

I looked up into the sky I could faintly see the stars appearing above me. This was not good after midnight I would be a wolf and I wouldn't be able to accomplish my plan. I was running through the night, not paying any attention when I ran into the waterfall. I stood up; I was a bit confused and disorientated.

Right Now I just have to keep going straight. About an hour had passed when I saw it, the house. 

It really shouldn't be called a house it was more like a grand palace or a giant castle. The giant black towers spiraled around the giant ground inside the alpha's 'home'.

I reached the gate and saw four guards standing at the dungeon like door. I could try and make a distraction to get through or I could try and scale the walls of his home. I decided I would go with option 2. I could not risk my life before the task was done. 

I over to one of the black spiral towers and started to climb. I reached the top after about twenty minutes of very tough climbing.

I was in; I followed the light and slipped through an open window. I was in a bedroom. A very big one. There was a bed dressed in black satin sheets in the centre of the room and the rest of the room was bare except a silver box identical to kalian's sitting on a mat under the bed.

There it was I went over to the box. Picked the box up and quickly pulled the gun out of my bag. I sat the bag down and took out the second silver bullet and loaded them both into the gun. I would have one shoot at hitting the alpha and I pray to any god that is listening that I would work.

I suddenly heard voice's outside the room's door, so I crawled under the bed and hid. 

A man walked in and sat down on the bed, took off his shoes and then he froze. I got up and walked over beside me. I thought he had seen me but he had seen my bag. S?@T. 

I leant over to pick it up when I jumped out from under the bed and put the gun to his head.

"Turn around or I'll shoot. NOW." He slowly turned around to face me, his piercing blue eyes were staring right back into mine. It was the alpha.

"Ahh Shane you have come at last, I wondered when you would come to visit me, Now put the gun down" 

His face went from proud and strong to very confused and scared.

"I don't understand, PUT IT DOWN" he screamed at me

"NO, it's not possible, you meant to do what I say, and it can't be." He kept saying these words over and over again. Then I got it, I am not meant t is able to disobey him but I can.  

I took a deep breath and said "You ruined my life now it's time to end yours" and then I pulled the trigger.

I looked at the lifeless body on the floor; he was surrounded by a pool of his own blood. I walked shakily over to the door and locked the door. Now it was my turn.

I walked over to my bag and pulled out the poem I had wrote for Kaila and read over it once more, it was now true

(I sit alone. The darkness surrounds me .It touches every corner of me, my heart and my soul. I am dead inside. There is only a body, no mind. I am coming for the one who done this to me. I will come in his nightmares, I'll, go hunting at night. I will creep around in the shadows out of everyone's sight. Tonight is the night when I will take his life. The hunter will become my prey. After tonight I will just be a memory but my job will have been done. I will drain him of blood, till he screams and begs and then I will join the village of the dead.)

I just had to finish my task; I went into my bag for the last time and took out my bottle of Jack Daniels. The stuff was the closest thing to blood for my. I took swag of it, picked up the gun and put it to the same place as where I had on the alpha.

"Goodbye mum, I will always love you" and then I pulled the trigger.
