The music makes the whole place shake, the sounds of people talking, of them ordering their drinks. I watch people grind against each other. The smell of the food was in my nose. This was the only 18 year or younger bar in my little city. I sigh; it’s been so long since I’ve been here. Ten months exactly, I only knew this because that because that’s when my parents were complete asses and left us, leaving me to care for my four year old sister. Oh god knows I love my sister, and I always wanted a kid, but not till I got older. Now the weight of reasonability on my shoulder was quietly killing me.
From first sight you would never guess that I was basically a single dad to my sister. I had no support. I cared for her by myself. And I did a pretty damn good job of it, I may not know what all little girls like, but Meghan wasn’t that hard to guess. She liked to color, she liked princess but she had her boyish side to. She liked to go to the skate park with me, usually she wore a beanie with ripped up jeans, her sk8 or h8 shirt and converses. She would wear her long black hair down; her pale blue eyes would dart around as she watch me do tricks on my board. Of course she would always want to ride with me. So I usually ride slow so she can ride with me. Most people would ask if she was my daughter, sometime I reply yes, others no she’s my sister. I don’t know why I would reply yes, I guess because to me she was my daughter; I mean she might as well be. I care for her, feed her; keep a roof over her head. She was safe with me. Most people would never believe that, from a glance at me. With my long emo style hair cut, that I had colored black from its original blonde color. My snake bits, my nose ring, my paleness, My bright green eyes. I looked dangerous to most people, but to Meghan I wasn’t...
I walked farther into the club, onto the Dance floor, where I felt most comfortable. The people were crashed into me as I sat down at a bar stool, I picked up my menu and began to read what they had. Suddenly I threw my head back and let out a gasp as something hits my stool and makes me fall to the ground , Hard. My eyes fly open and I look up, A bottle was laying beside me. I l reached over and picked up the bottle, as a boy about my age a little older came running at me. He looks at me and yells "Shit! I didn’t mean to do that! Are you okay?!?!" he comes toward me a little bit more and bends down beside me. I get a good look at his face, he had pale skin but it was a little darker than mine. He had light brown hair with a neon green streak going through it. He had neon blue eyes that would sparked in the sun light. He was shorter than me, by maybe 3 inches shorter. I push up on my knees and dust off my chest before handing him the bottle.
"Yeah I’m fine. I wasn't paying attention, it’s my fault" I smile, he smiles back. His neon streak falls in his face, covering his neon blue eyes. It was really an adorable scene.
“Are you sure? I mean by the look on your face, I say it probably hurt like a mofo.” He chuckles and stands up, taking my hand and pulling me up. His hand is still holding mine, his fingers loop into mine. I cough a little bit and his face turns blood red. It was actually kinda cute. His hand slips out of mine and I frown. He reaches back and itches his head
“By the way I’m Andy, you are?” I asks and he looks up at me. His foot sways back and forth on the ground.
“Promise you won’t laugh at my name?” He asks quietly
“Promise” I cross my heart, he laughs and looks at me again.
“I’m Neon…” He trails off.
