I love you like I hate you

Prologue :

I was swinging singing softly to myself on our backyard canopy swing when suddenly Elena burst in through my gate and fell face-first straight onto the grass. She lifted herself off the ground and ran towards me. I started laughing at her clumsiness but my laughter was immediately shut by her next words. 

"Hayden is......... kissing Mary-Jane ........... in his back---- yard .......... I'm sorry Rosy but ...... I just . thought you should ..... know what ......... is going .......on! ....... I never expected  ..........this to ... happen ......... especially not between you too !"

No.

No,no,no,nononononono............

No I did not believe this even one bit. This was some kind of sick joke right ? There was no way in hell that MY Hayden, my BEST FRIEND, on whom I had been crushing for years, who had ALWAYS stood by my side, had finally admitted that he felt the same way about me 2 months back. 

We were a couple. We had known each other for 16 years of my life and I trusted him completely. 

I jumped off the swing immediately and ran, jumping over the picket fence and heading straight for Hayden's house which was only three houses down from mine. 

As I reached there I literally felt like collapsing as I saw Hayden and Mary-Jane sitting on his tree house kissing like there was no tomorrow. After what felt like hours they finally stopped going at it and Mary-Jane came down with Hayden behind her, before she went off after throwing him one of her flirtatious smiles which he returned with a blank face.

I knew right there that he hadn't wanted to do that. Or maybe I was just trying to convince myself.

I was shaking vigorously as I looked at what seemed to have been the love of my life who had blatantly cheated on me and did not look guilty about it by any means. 

I clamped a hand on my mouth which was making whimpering noises but I guess it was too late for that since he looked at me with wide eyes just before they turned blank.

"What are you looking at  - CHEAT ?" The words sent 1000 Megawatts worth of shock through me and i just couldn't register his words.

Me ????

A cheat ???

More like him !!

I wasn't the one who had confessed to love me as much as I loved him and then cheat on me with some whore.

"I am a CHEAT ??? You were the one snogging that whore's face off while I was at home waiting for you to come pick me up for our movie night tonight !"

"Yes you are the filthy CHEATER Rosella darling. I'm just here doing what I think is right considering that my heart has been broken more than yours is going to be. Or wait a second ... I don't even think that you have a heart !"

His words cut through my heart like glass and I slid down to the muddy ground sobbing uncontrollably. I couldn't catch head or tail of what he was saying but I knew that whatever shit he had been told was a completel lie. 

He sneered at me and said "Oh now the waterworks have begun ! How wonderful ! Just as I expected. You are such a predictable person Miss.Cheater but don't worry cause this time I'm not gonna come into your clutches. To tell you what I think that those whores in school are better than you. Since they atleast don't hide their real self behind a stupid goody mask !! I hate you Rosella Williams !! I LITERALLY HATE YOU - DESPISE YOU !!"

I just stared at him through tear-filled eyes with a horror-struck expression on my face ! He clutched his hair in his hands and slid down to the floor too. He was shaking too but it was with anger and pain. He suddenly whispered with his head still looking down. "I trusted you ............. I trusted you -  and suddenly his voice rose extremely high - and YOU BETRAYED ME !"

I started crawling towards him to beg his forgiveness and clear later on what ever misunderstanding had taken place so that we could both be happy again. But as soon as I placed my trembling hand over his, he threw my hand off him and roared "GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF ME ! AND GET LOST FROM HERE FOREVER BEFORE I END UP KILLING YOU !" I pushed myself back in terror and backed myself up against the tree, cowering against it in fear. 

Then in a much lower voice he said "All this while I thought that you and I never kept secrets from each other. But I guess I was wrong and you really are the biggest bitch alive on earth. Please ........ I'm begging you leave me alone forever." and having said that, he quickly got up and ran back inside his house slamming the door behind him.
