Ashley’s POV
As I sit outside Tazuna’s small house, leaning against a tree, I can’t help but think about Orochimaru, and my time with him. Placing a hand on my shoulder, I wince as it throbs with a dull pain.
I glance up at My Lord, as he leans his head on his hand.
“Yes Lord Orochimaru?” I respond in my bland, seven year old voice. The man smirks at me from his chair, shadows covering most of his face. He beckons to me with one finger.
“Come here child, I have a gift for you” he encourages lowly, staring intently at me as I make my way over to him. As I walk towards him, he suddenly holds up a pale hand, stopping me in my tracks.
“Yes My Lord?” I ask again, to which he begins laughing, sounding like a deranged maniac. The teenage boy, standing to My Lord’s left, pushes his glasses up his nose and smirks at me as well.
I don’t even flinch, as Lord Orochimaru’s neck rapidly extends, his grinning face rushing towards me. With a loud and chilling hiss, his head reaches behind my neck, mouth opening wide as fans extend from his gums. My hand twitches slightly, as I feel those sharp teeth pierce my left shoulder blade.
Lord Orochimaru's head retracts back to his body, as his cruel, snake like eyes watch me eagerly. Suddenly, a searing pain tears through my shoulder, spreading like a wildfire through the rest of my body. I instantly grip onto my shoulder, making my knuckles turn white, as I fall to my knees. Squeezing my eyes closed, I bite my lip to suppress the scream that is trying to escape.
“If you cannot survive this, my child,” Lord Orochimaru drawls loftily, “You will be of no further use to me.” He waves a hand at Kabuto, sighing.
“Normally, I’d leave a pathetic experiment that is unable to host to my Earth’s Curse Mark to you Kabuto” Lord Orochimaru says, giving Kabuto a slightly distasteful, yet mocking look, “But I doubt you’d be able to handle her, even in her current state."
"You two kids have fun now” he adds ominously, turning to leave the room. Kabuto looks longingly at Orochimaru’s back, while I lean on my left hand and my knees, gasping for air. Sweat drips down the sides of my face, as I try to regulate my breathing and calm down. I’ve never felt such pain in all my life! And the Curse already feels so evil and wrong! I hate the feeling of it...
“Oh,” Orochimaru pauses and turns to me, half covered by darkness, “And I’ll see you in the morning Ashley. If you survive anyway.”
That said, Lord Orochimaru disappears into the shadowy depths of his latest hide out. His echoing laugh can be heard sounding through the building.
Kabuto suddenly turns to me with a nasty, hate filled scowl. He leans down to me as I peek up at him with one eye.
“You may be Orochimaru’s favorite at the moment Ashley” he informs me jealously, “But I can put an end to it all now! Then……then, I will be Lord Orochimaru’s favorite! And he will use my body as his next vessel!” Despite my agony, I smirk up at him tauntingly.
“Wow, you’re so desperate for attention Kabuto” I mock the silver haired boy. Spitting out some blood, I add, “It’s just so sad and pathetic.”
Kabuto growls furiously and does a hand sign.
“Chakra Scalpel!” he cries, a small blue blade, made from chakra, forms around both of his hands. He grins at me evilly.
“Say good bye, you ungrateful, incompetent little girl!” he exclaims gleefully, plunging his glowing hand towards my injured shoulder. My hand shoots out and grabs Kabuto's wrist tightly, causing him to gasp in surprise. He pulls and struggles against my grip, grunting in frustration.
I slowly peer up at him, a growl forming on my lips. The boy glares back at me, before darting his other hand towards my arm, trying to catch me off guard. I scowl at Kabuto and push his wrist back, threatening to bend it backwards. He groans in pain, as I bend it further and further backwards, pushing it to its breaking point.
