(Alex's P.O.V.)

darkness. dreams. faces. all of them seemed to blur together. im nowhere, yet im here. faces, familiar faces. what happened? Jenny! Samantha! my girls, are gone. somewhere with an enemy i shouldnt have trusted over the years. the thought.... woke me up. slowly my eyes opened to a white ceiling, looking around i would say im in a hospital. given that its kind of dark it must be nighttime right now. ilooked around until i found a clock hanging up next to the tv. 3:45 am. with sheer determination, i started pulling tubes out of my arms and nose, i dont remember what happened but i do know that it had something to do with Scott. i got up from the bed with a groan, my muscles were stiff and sore. i stretched out my limbs but i barely made a step before a nurse came in and ushered me back into bed.

"no...." i tried to form a sentence but my mouth and throte was too dry, the nurse seemed to notice and got me a glass of water.

"you need to stay in bed. you just got out of a coma and it can be very dangerous for your body to start moving around already." she took the glass back as i shook my head.

"no. i have to find my family. theyr in trouble." her eyes were apologetic but she gently pushed on my shoulders to lay me back in the bed. i was too weak to try and resist, both physically and mentally.

"im sorry. i know about what happened to your wife and daughter, i hope theyr found soon. those men that took them must be real phsycopaths." she pulled the sheet over me and set a remote next to my hand.

"now you better be in this bed when i get back. your prolly as hungry as a rhino." she gave me a small smile and went through the door. i looked around until i spotted my cell fone, reaching over i immediately called my police buddies.

"police department, this is Ben speaking."

"Ben, its Alex." i heard a gasp and some banging and rustling around along with shouting on the other end of my fone.

"Alex?? my god your awake?" i nearly smiled at his disbeleif.

"yes i am, you prolly already know what i want to know about." he groaned dramatically.

"you just wake up from a coma after being in a complete car wreck and your already getting to business?? your the crazy one here man!" i couldnt help but smile after he said that, he was always the jokester around the office.

"this is my family we're talking about Ben, i have to know whatever you got. any leads?" i heard shuffling.

"well, we got one lead but its not for sure. just a suspision." i sat up and held the fone closer to my ear.

"where?"

"well your not going to like it but ill tell you anyway, we think they may have gone to Irland." i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"you sure?"

"yeah, we checked the map on the road where you last saw them and so far none of the towns have a secluded place in which to hide so easily, but in Irland there is plenty of land and forests to hide inside." i nodded, that sound like Scott.

"ok, thats actually a pretty good lead. ill have to check into that when they let me out of here." Ben sighed again.

"ok but you are taking it easy, i will not let you work yourself into another coma so that the rest of the force will have my ass over a fire. just get some rest and recover completely before you come back ok?" i agreed and hung up the fone. before i could get into thought about the situation, the nurse came in with a tray full of food.

"here ya go. this should fill you up but its not enough for you to throw it back up even if you are still hungry after you finnish it." i nodded my thanks and started eating as my stomach grumbled for the lack of food it got.

i sighed in content when i finnished off the tray, now that i was alone and not busy with anything, my mind wandered to Jenny and Samantha. god i cant help but imagine the worst for them, what theyr being put through all because of a few lunatics think theyr in love with them. i wonder whats happening to Sam, Jenny is strong enough to hold off Scott but what about my little girl? she doesnt exactly know what those two are capable of. poor Jenny had to whitness firsthand what Scott is capable of. please god let them be ok.

(Ben's P.O.V.)

poor Alex. that must suck what hes going through. his wife being kidnapped again and his daughter following close beind even though this is her fist time being kidnapped. Alex must be ficken miserable knowing that he isnt getting anywhere near to saving them at the moment. we have done a lot of research of where they could have gone but we dont know where exactly they could be in Irland. there are plenty of hidden houses that have been baught or rented out around the time they got kidnapped. i sighed and leaned back in my chair.

"stressed out for once huh?" James came over with a small smirk, his eyes showing how exhausted he really was. Alex is a great friend to all of us and the girls are like family, we have been up nearly every night trying to find anymore leads to them.

"stressed is for once in my vocabulary. i just hope it wont show its face again after we find the girls and bring them back home." he nodded in agreement and pulled up a chair next to mine.

"i just cant beleive that little Sammy is all grown up and shes already gotten herself kidnapped by some guy." i gave him a small smile at that. sometimes Alex would bring her to the office when things werent too busy, she was just this little treasure running around and causing trouble.

"she hasnt changed much but i do miss the little brat." we chuckled and started talking about what she would do and what small prank she would pull on us once in a while.

"yup, she sure kept us on our toes."

"a lot better than any criminal thats for sure. shes gone and shes still got us on our toes." our small smiles turned into grim frowns.

"i just wish that she would walk through the door any second saying fooled you, got you again ya old coots." i nodded.

"she is a lot like her mother, i would say shes a lot like her father but shes anything but." his face turned angry as he quickly turned his attention somewhere else. i just sighed and patted him on the shoulder.

"come on. lets get home and grab some sleep. if we keep this up then we will be too stupid to even put on our socks." we were both reluctant but we had to do what we had to do in order to concentrate right so we can get the girls back.

"you can give the announcement." he yawned as he turned to grab his coat. i just nodded and stood up on my desk and shouted loudly.

"everyone go home! we wont be able to find them if we're as dumb as zombies! now get before you get fired!" they were all giving me glares but did as i said anyway, good. we all needed rest and it took us a long while to just get the lead we have.

i stayed behind and waited until everyone else wasgone before packing up my own things and getting ready to leave. i turned around to look around the office one more time, focusing on Alex's desk which had pictures of all 3 of them smiling. i gave a small smile and a promise that i would do everything it took to get his family back. well, our family. he is my brother after all.

i know this chapter is kinda boring and a little short but im uber tired and stressed out
