Come Back to Me
Oh where art thou dearest friend?
I search in time to the very end.
Where could you be?
I am lost, for you are no longer with me.
I search and seach till tears arise
and I can not see the sunrise.
It is dark and gray,
when you are away,
So come back to me
or sick and sad is what I will be.
For you are a part of me;
the part that makes me feel so carefree.
Oh I will wait,
Even as things begin to disintegrate.
For I will fear the end is near
until I lose the ability to hear
Because I can not bare the sight
nor take flight.
For a missing piece is is what I am left with
and not a bit of this is a myth.
So come back to me before I lose my sight
due to such fright of the thought of you lost
and that would be such a dreadful cost
One that causes me so much pain and grief
so I will just be brief.
Come back to me.
Are sacred place is where I'll be.
I will wait for you to the ends of time
till you will always and forever be mine.
