A/N This is just a very short chapter and you are all gonna hate me for what happens in it but sadly it has to happen, it's part of the story line. Vote/comment/fan. I made this very short because I was almost in tears writing it and I can't imagine what you all will feel like. So I decided to keep it short. Anyways on with the story.

Chapter 18

Louis's POV

No this can't be happening, I was standing by her window trying to see if there was a gap in the blind, just a little one would be enough, I just want to know what is going on.

"Lou it's no use," Harry said from behind me.

I turned around, "Don't say that."

"Lou calm down," Haz said stepping forward.

I didn't want it to happen but the tears started making their way down my cheek.

"Aww Lou," Harry smiled wrapping his arms around me pulling me into a close hug.

All of the sudden the door to Cade's room opened and the doctor's and nurses who ran in before started walking out, their faces showing no sign of what happened. One of the doctor's stopped and started talking to us.

"She is stable and awake but I don't know how long for, so I recommened saying your goodbyes now," the doctor said before walking away. I walked up to the doorway and looked into the room.

Cade laid on the bed, barely any colour on her face and the only movement being her chest rising and falling. I froze, this was not the girl I met those months ago, or the woman I married less than a couple of weeks ago.

I walked forward, ok Louis you can do this, you can say goodbye. Who am I kidding, I ran back out of the room and clapsed on the floor.

Harry ran to my side, "Lou, you ok?"

"I can't," I cried.

"Lou it's going to be ok."

"How can you say that? My wife is laying in there, slipping away, she is dying Harry and there is nothing I can do but go say goodbye, I can't, I am not ready to say goodbye."

"Lou, you need to stay strong," Harry said calmly, "Come on up you get."

Harry helped to lift me up and held me up until I found my feet.

"How can you be so calm?" I asked.

"I'm not, I'm screaming on the inside but, ah, I stay strong, one of us has to for Cade and for Clara now too, you can't let Cade die knowing that you are a wreck, go in there, I'll come too."

I held Harry's hand as we walked back into the room, I looked at Cade, she was still so beautiful, even if she was pale as the sheets she laid upon. I let go of Harry's hand and kneeled beside Cade's bed, grabbing hold of her hand.

Cade's head moved and her eyes met mine.

"Hey," she said barely a whisper.

"Hey," I smiled.

"Lou," she spoke softly, "I love you."

"I love you," I replied.

I brought my lips to hers, and even though it was soft it poured out everything I felt for her. I pulled back and looked at her again.

"You both look after each other and my baby, or so help me I will haunt your ass," Cade said softly before starting to cough like crazy.

"Hey we'll look after her," Harry said softly.

"Lou," Cade said softly.

"Yeah."

"I love you so much," she smiled, "Thank you for everything."

I brought my free hand up and cupped her cheek.

"Sorry, are we interupting something?" I turned around and saw Liam, Niall, Zayn, Perrie, Danielle, Anne, Mum and Cade's dad come in.

"Everyone is here Cade," I said.

"Everyone?" Cade asked.

"We're all here Cade," Liam smiled.

Cade smiled.

Cade's dad walked over to Harry's side, "It's ok baby, we're all here, you can go to sleep now."

Cade smiled as her dad held her hand.

"Dad I'm scared," Cade whispered.

Her dad kneeled down and held her hand as he looked at me, we both had no clue what to say to her.

"Everyone is here baby, no need to be scared," her dad answered.

"We're not going anywhere," I added.

Cade looked at me, "I love you."

"I love you too," I kissed her forehead and her eyes started to get heavy and she closed them, moments later the heartmonitor flatlined. Doctors and nurses started to rush in and push us aside.

"Stop!" I yelled, "She's gone."

I kneeled back down beside Cade and kissed her forehead.

"Time of death 5:56pm, on June 27th," the doctor said, "I'm sorry for your lose."
