Poems, Short Works, and Other Fancies of My Mind

I am grateful for my senses:

The sound of a million tiny rain drops beating against the roof and the wind whooshing through the trees and against the house;
The sight of grey and purple clouds in a sunset sky set ablaze by flashes of lightning;
The sweet fragrance of rain, the heady aroma of ozone;
The taste of pure rain on my lips when I dance in nature's shower;
The feel of each drop splashing on my skin, the rumbling thunder vibrating my chest, and the squishy mud between my toes as a child.
The joy and delight of experiencing God's creation first hand, of spinning and laughing and dancing in the rain just because I can.

Yes, I am so very grateful for the ability to feel! ^_^
