Story of My Life: A Jacob Latimore Love Story -Editing-

"And finally she comes back, I thought it would be christmas by the time you made another appearance " he said with a smile on his face. I scoffed as I grabbed my grey beanie, placing it on my head.

"Whatever.. who's car are we taking, mine or yours" I asked him while putting on my purple infinity scarf.

"Hmmmmm.... why don't you choose" He said, while standing up and putting his coat back on

" Okay, mines it is?" I questioned while putting on my grey fingerless gloves

"No way! You know the drill. We always take mine" he says as he grabs his keys from the coffee table.

"Yeah, sure whatever, but I drive" I reply as I snatch the keys from his hands and run out the door. I look back to see him shake his head and bite his lip. I love it when he bites his lip. Even after four years I can't stop thinking about him "that" way. It's not my fault. We get in the car and pull out of the driveway. 

About 30 minutes later we pull into the drive-in and I park backwards, glad that we did end up taking his big suv type truck thingy instead of my car. We lift the trunk up and i put the seats down. I know all our movie stuff is in its usual spot. I arrange the blankets and pillows in my perfect way because I'm extremely obsessive compulsive about things like that. I turn around and see Jake looking at me fix our little movie area. Jacob watches intently as I finish up the lay-out. We load in and flip a coin to see who picks the first movie. Jake wins, as he always does, and I expect to see him pick some random action thriller movie but instead, he goes for the scariest thing here, knowing for a fact that I hate anything that has to do with scary. Even if I get a part in a scary movie I would never watch it. 

"Jacob come on, you know i hate scary stuff" 

"It's okay trust me"

"Oh my gosh! Alright, but i blame you for any emotional scarring"

He laughs and proceeds to help me into the trunk. As I get all comfy I expect him to take his usual spot laying down in the front, but instead he decides to sit beside me. Weird, but I let it slide and let the trailers begin. About 30 minutes later I'm hoarse from screaming and currently have my head under a blanket. Then I feel Jacob move a little closer and grab my hand. Without a second thought I uncover my head and scoot closer to him. An hour later I realize we are kinda sorta cuddling, if it weren't for the fact that i'm still scared out of my mind, and every time I get scared, which is a lot in this movie, i hide my head in his shoulder and he rubs my shoulder. I am in complete horror and bliss and feel like this is just perfect. After the movie ends I decide to pick a comedy so I can try and laugh away the new fears created from the previous movie. We laugh and smile and sometime in the middle I guess I fell asleep. A little while later I woke up to the gentle touch of Jacob. I get up startled and see we are in the driveway of my house. As the perfect gentleman he is, he helps me out the car and walks me to the door. 

"I had a great night Jake, I'm glad you are here, even if it is only for a little while"

" Glad I am too, I really missed you, texts just weren't enough for me"

"Well goodnight Jake"

He looks at me and bites his lip in that sexy way I love. He bends down and softly kisses me on the lips. A nice, gentle, sweet kiss with those lovely chocolate lips of his. Soft and delicious, and he  even tasted a little like gummy worms.

"Good Night Kai'lani"

And he walked away. Got in his car, and drove away.

I quickly went inside, said goodnight to my parents and ran upstairs. I lay on my bed for a good 20 minutes remembering the kiss and thinking, could that have really happened? Am I still asleep in the car? Am i sick? Am I dreaming? Or has my love shown through and Jake realized that the feeling is mutual. I fell asleep like that, in my leather skinny jeans and sweater, with the memory of his lips on mine.
