Realizing the Truth Part 2

Okay, so I'm super happy, because on the first part, I got 2 votes!! And 26 reads! It may not sound like an accomplishment to you, but it is to me, because, this is my first month on wattpad... Also, I got a fan, so big thanks to Meenaanika! If you get the chance, check out her stories if she has any! Also, I kind of need some more time to write, so I'm gonna need to ask you a favour... I need 5 votes to get the next part posted up. If you can, please tell your friends and junk... please? Okay, enough of me... back to the story!
Realizing the Truth
Part Two

~Mystery Dude's POV~

I wish I didn't come in late.

Mrs. Perez (my new teacher at my new school) was introducing me to like, 40 other teens who didn't give a damn.
My name is Thomas Wellers. I have pitch black hair and piercing icy blue eyes. My skin is naturally tanned... I always look like I got spray tanned or something. I'm a huge klutz, also! Never trust me with a sledge hammer. I may break you... If I can even manage to pick it up. I have low metabolism, so not being insanely muscular doesn't attract women. I just tell them I'm too busy at swimming practice to work out... Hey! It works!
So, anyways, I'm standing there looking like a complete retard, and girls are checking me out. I winked at one whose mouth was open... seriously; I thought flies were in there having tea... her mouth was open for, like, 15 minutes. That wink sure closed her mouth.
I looked at her eyes, remembering what I just saw. Her eyes are golden-brown! What the hell? Where did that come from? That's insane. Probably colored contacts for all I know.

~Amanda's POV~
Why the hell did he wink at me? He's not even my type.
I tried to follow where he went to sit down, and then I lost him in the crowd of the students in the desks in front of me. Jason and I were always in the back type of people. If I ever got invited to a party, I'd usually either lose myself in the dance crowd, or be sitting somewhere (usually hooking up with a guy... heheh...) as long as I wasn't noticed. After I stared at him, mouth open, it was his turn. He kept turning his head (he chose the seat RIGHT in front of me! Crush much?) To look at my eyes. Once, I stared back deeply into those things of steel he calls eyes. They weren't deep, they weren't ANYTHING. I couldn't see anything for once in my life.
Oh yeah, I forgot about my special vampire power (Ooooo! No it's not like that...). When I look deeply into someone's eyes, I can see everything. Their past, what job they want, etc. But with him, there was nothing!
Jason can't do anything. I'm one of those with special powers in my family. But, ANYWAYS...
He's the one, I thought to myself over and over... If there's someone that you can't use your powers on, that person (immortal or mortal) is the one you should spend the rest of your life with. It's called soul mate instincts. Vampires know when they know. Jason can't do anything perfectly when he finds HIS soul mate. And he already has! A girl named Clarissa. She's stayed at our house for months now. She's also eighteen, and Jason got her pregnant. Her parents kicked her out, and she has been forever welcome ever since. Don't worry, she and the baby are fine, and she had to be changed after labour. The shock was eating her, and Jason had to, or else she would be on her own. He couldn't handle it. He sunk his teeth in before he could think twice. He doesn't regret it. And he shouldn't!
Thomas, I kept thinking. Thomas...
****After school****

"Amanda! Over here!" Jason called. I started walking over to his car when... Thomas (SIGH!) stepped in front of me.
"Uhm, excuse me, Thomas," I said. I have never noticed how light and chime-like my voice is!
I heard him sigh. I hope he isn't a player...
"I just wanted to ask you something, Amanda, isn't it?" He said.
"Yeah, it's Amanda, and could you please make it quick, Thomas, I have to get to my brother."
"Uhm, do you want to go out for coffee... now?"
"We just met, and I really have to..."
He cut me off. "I know, but I saw you in class, and I really want to get to know you," His hard eyes softened, and I saw his past...I cringed. It was awful. He was beaten by his dad. I saw the scars and they were just there, burned into his lightly tanned skin, never to come out again. I felt so sorry for him.
"Okay, Thomas, but I'm driving," I told him.
I went over and told Jason what's going on. He just told me not to go to his house. I rolled my eyes and told him to tell Krista and Josh (my 'parents') I'll be back in time to hunt.

I jumped in my car, motioning for Thomas to get in. We drove off...

Ooooo! See ya! And I need! I need! Those Votes! Okay, BYE!
