~~Pic on the side is Tristin, played by meee!!~~
I awoke in a hospital bed with a massive headache. I felt weak and blinded as sun light streamed through the windows burning my skin. Someone must've seen my discomfort though 'cause the blinds were pulled shut. Instantly, I felt better. My skin cooled and I could see perfectly, which is odd because I needed glasses. And when I say need, I mean need; I couldn't see shit without them. I got out of bed and went to the door, opened it, and peered down the hall quickly realising that my vision had more than improved. It was superhuman. I could read the tiny letters posted on a board down the hall, like it was right in front of me.
"Do you need, anything?" a fat nurse said in monotone.
"Uhhh how'd I get here?"
"Ugh," she grunted obviously annoyed at my question. "You were found in an alley passed out." she said walking away before I could ask more questions. "You've been out for about 3 days!" she called out as an after thought. I took a few minutes to check my memory but I could finally decipher most of what had happened.
*flashback*
"Eh, pretty boy!" a bulking black guy wearing basket ball shorts and a white tee shouted, all gangsta like. "You want some of this?" he called grabbing his private area. His "some of this" actually sounded more like "sum uh dis". I just stared at him at first.
"No, I'm good!" I answered, walking past him and his friends. There was silence for a moment before I heard footsteps. I started walking faster.
"What's wrong?" a voice called again, this time the voice was different. "You didnt seem afraid a second ago when you made that witty comment."
Witty?
"That wasnt really a witty comment, I was jus-"
"Shut the fuck up!" he interrupted, and I felt pain shoot through my side, where he'd just punched me.
"Aww fucker!" I scowled. "That kinda hurt," I said turning to face them,"but you'll have to do better. C'mon my family beats me worse." He swung again, and I quickly dodged it and started to run...sorta...I'm not so sporty. Damn these skinny jeans!
The thugs quickly caught up to me and threw me in an alley.
"Ohhh I see what's going on," I couldn't help say, "you're a gang that goes around raping teenage boys." I said it like I'd discovered a big secret. Stupid fifteen year old humor! Now that I could see all of them, I noticed that there were six. Meh, I could take em. Ha, that's a thought, or I could try running again. So that's what I did. Didn't work at all. They blocked me and I was punched again, harder this time, and forced to the ground. The one who'd first talked to me got on top of me and started pulling his shorts down.
"You gonna get some now," he said with a grin.
"Boy! You better pull dem shorts up!" I said with my own gangsta voice. He flipped me over and I heard a scream. Who was that? Another scream and a loud crack sounded through the ally.
"What the-" he stopped suddenly and it felt like he was thrown off me. I quickly stumbled to my feet and turned to see a blond girl standing there. She couldn't have been older than sixteen. Her blonde hair was almost white and in big, perfect curls down to her hips. She was pale, her lips a dark shade of red. Her bright blue eyes were open wide as she stared at me. Observing.
"I'm Sophie," she said, reaching to shake my hand, which I grabbed. Her skin was ice cold.
"I'm Tristin...Did you do that?" I asked dumbfounded, to which she just smiled back.
"You're homeless." It wasn't a question,
"No I-"
"Don't lie to me," she said sternly, her eyes flashing red.
"Yes"
"Why?"
"My parents found out I-"
"Like guys."
"Well I was gonna say 'sell drugs'," I muttered and, to my surprise, she laughed. Then she suddenly had me pinned to the wall, her face buried in my neck. I moaned at the feeling at first, until a sharp pain started shooting through my neck. When she pulled her teeth from my neck, I fell to the floor, gasping in pain. I could feel it slowly spreading down my body. My vision blurred and I could hardly breath, i tried to speak, but all that came out were choking noises.
"Yeah, that'll hurt for a bit. It takes a couple of days to change but you'll be asleep for most of it." She said smoothing my hair down with a sad look on her face.
