I conducted my first interview with Tayla160, author of Performing Arts Academy, Best Damn Guy, Love's Tricky and the Ballad of Ivy Hillman, just to name a few! She has great talent and even more potential so I hope after getting to know her your mouses will zoom across to her page to check out her stuff.

1. What is the first story you have ever written?

The first story I remember writing was The Kidnapper, which I then turned into a movie starring my friend and me. I think I was five. But the first over 2 pages story I wrote was Counted, which I have posted on Wattpad.

2. How did you come up with the plot line for PAA?

Um...well, at first I wanted to come up with a book that involved a game show. Then, after I wrote a chapter of the game show book, which already had Jaime and Christian as characters, I realised I hated writing that. So, I skipped to the end of the game show and thought about the prize and I decided it would be a scholarship. I then decided to make the scholarship to a performing arts academy. It kind of just flowed from there.

3. Do you plan to make writing your full time occupation or is it more of a hobby?

I really, really, really want to become an author when I grow up. Writing isn't just a hobby of mine. I write as much as I can. Sometimes, when I get bored in class, I just start writing a random paragraph at the back of a book. That's where you can find the first few paragraphs of Best Damn Guy, in the back of my Science book.

4. How do you fix your writer's block?

I just go for a walk around my suburb. I sometimes then act like a stalker and follow someone that reminds me of one of my characters. I'm a scary stalker :) Unfortunately, I've never found someone who reminds me of Christian.

5. What styles of writing do you prefer to use?

Well, I prefer to do first person. I like to write romance and comedy, even though I'm not that funny. Action is always fun but it's also very difficult.

6. What is your favourite Wattpad novel?

I have many, many, many, many Wattpad novels that I love and it's so hard to choose. The ones I love the most are: all by MP13Girl, all by Emmiie, all by Kirsty1000, all by makeandoffer, Being a Rock Star Sucks by redzebra, all by xxWhoAteMyCookiexx and loads more.

7. What is your favourite published novel?

My favourite published novel would have to be Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead. I don't know why it's my favourite of the Vampire Academy novels...probably because it has a lot of Christian!!!! I am proudly Team Christian Ozera <3

8. What do you hope Wattpad will be like for you in year?

I hope to have over a hundred fans, one more book with over 10,000 reads, over 500 votes and a few more comments.

9. Do you base any of your characters on real people?

A few...um...my friend Liana is a lot like Lindley from PAA and BDG, Chay from PAA is based off of @do_vampires_suck_no and her boyfriend, Zach, and my new book I'm writing and soon will be posting has a few more characters based on real people. The new book is about Jaime and Christian's children: Heather, Brian and Lindley (teeehhee)

10. Where do you get your inspiration?

I get my inspriation from my dreams. I dreamed of the part of Love's Tricky when the detention centre gets broken into.
