Vampire Fantasy

i'd been going out with tyler for a week now and i noticed we'd started drifting away from each other, Cassie (his friends girlfriend) had recently been hanging out with him and tyler was talking more around HER but as soon as it got to me, well, he shut his mouth completely  

I'd learned he was keeping secrets from me, secrets SHE knew. 

i approached him from my usual place along the windows to where he was standing in the shade 

"hey Hon, how are you?" i smiled 

"not as good as i am with Cassie, we've fallen out, over her boyfriend, look Sarah, i'm sorry if i sound like a Jerk but i like Cassie more than you so we're like over now, y'know?" Tyler looked at me with eyes that i'd fallen in love with, that's changed now, those eyes, i hated. 

"so your ditching me for HER?!" i growled angrily 

"well, uhh, yeah, sort of?" he screwed his face up, then smiled at someone behind me 

Her 

"hey Sarah, has he ditched you yet? i wouldn't act so surprised, we planned it for like, ages!" Cassie giggled and hugged Tyler "i managed to get away from Keiran, we're over now so umm we can be like, together now"  

"great, see ya around Sarah" Tyler became my arch-enemy when he put his arm around that, that .....  

THING! 

i started to blub, i got out of maths, luckily, nobody knew what had happened. 

"what's wrong with you Sarah?" my best friend Marley frowned 

"Tyler ditched me for CASSIE" i wailed vulnerably  

"wow, like we never told you, girl you gotta get your priorities right, go for someone like, Hmmmmm 

how about Reese?, he's kindhearted, a great guy. and he is gorgeous" marley waved at him and he smiled at me 

"did you see that. he totally has the hotts for you" Marley grinned 

A week after the Tyler incident  

Reese asked me to end-of-term Prom! 

"well d'you wanna go? i'd love it if you came, i mean i really like you Sarah, come over to my house after school and we can go uptown together?" Reese smiled at me with gorgeous pale brown eyes 

"sure, i'll see you at, say, 5-ish?" i blushed girlishly 

"okay want a ride home? or am i asking to much?"he laughed at my pink cheeks 

"yeah definately and no not at all
