This is a poem I wrote based on the book UnChristian by David Kinnaman. It is an amazing book about how Christians can be hypocritical and push non-believers away, and how they should fix it. I am a Baptist and this book really inspired me.
You claim to love all, even those who fall,
and yet you readily condemn the lost.
We wonder when you will obey His call,
and stop showing others nothing but frost.
You think yourselves so perfect and saintly.
You are pure and your merit always seen.
You would never taint something so dainty
as yourselves with outsiders so unclean.
Now the lost will remain lost forever.
The wanderers' last hope has been removed.
Nothing to show for all your endeavors,
and now your hypocrisy has been proved.
But take heart saints, there's time to prove us wrong.
You can still bring the lost back to His throng.
