1 - Do you feel that what you're doing at ForbiddenPlanet is important?

I reckon so! I mean if we don't, who will? Sci-Fi can't live in the shadows anymore! Since Wattpad is kind of overcast with crappy romance and other genres COUGH TWILIGHT FANFIC COUGH, Science Fiction needs someone to pull it out the gutter, give it a pat on the back and a bloody good oorah!

2 - Of the many Sci-Fi sub genres, which is your favourite and why?

Honestly that's a hard one, if its got robots, space battles, hot chicks, guns, explosions, lasers, it's pretty much my favourite sub-genre haha! Nah, in all seriousness I love it's a pretty tough one to answer. Military, dystopia, apocalyptic to name a few!

3 - You yourself are a writer. Where do you find inspiration for your stories?

Normally my imagination, if only I could find the will to write it all down! But you know, I draw inspiration from everything, just like everyone else. Music especially is a huge influence to me. I listen to a lot of epic stuff and some good tunes can definitely create some really awesome scenes in your minds eye.

4 - Of your own works, which is your favourite and why?

That's hard to say as they aren't really finished haha. But I have a bunch of ideas planned out so we shall see what happens when I've actually finished them! But it would have to be False Sagacity ( at least in my head that one is going to be awesome ) or The Corpse Queen ( that isn't sci-fi though :-[ )

5 - Do you find that writing comes easily to you, or is it something that you have to work at?

Urgh, I wish it did. I find once I get into 'the zone' I'm fine but it's really getting into that zone that's the problem! Plus a lot of distractions + some procrastination + everything else = not a lot of writing gets done!

6 - Who do you consider to be the best of your created characters?

Hmmm, that is really difficult since well. I haven't actually put them into writing most of the characters haha. But I like Alice who will be the main protagonist in False Sagacity, a hardened military type just trying to get by without too much hastle! Or Elequin from The Corpse Queen. Love a good strong woman haha!

7 - There are many Sci-Fi stories on Wattpad. List your top five?

In no particular order. When Worlds Collide by our very own AngusEcrivain that one is flippin' great! What more could you want from a story?! Strippers guns plasma explosions! It really has got it all.

Next up is Perfect Life by the wonderful vanitycat. Great story, love the dystopian theme, the way it's pretty grim. And the fact that computer games take over people's lives haha!

Hmm, this gets harder the further we get into it. Well I have to say even though it's only a short story I really enjoyed Humanity's Echo by TheOrangutan for our short story smackdown!

I really can't think of anything else off the top of my head! (sorry anyone who feel's i've robbed them of a few minutes of fame by not mentioning them! haha)

8 - Let's move away from Wattpad. Who is your favourite Science Fiction author and why? Which of their works would you say is your absolute favourite?

Well this is a really difficult one! But I'd have to say The Time Machine by H. G. Wells as I can't help but feel it played a part in my love for Sci-Fi from when I was a wee lad!

9 - What's with all the cheese?

Maximum cheddar! You really can't go wrong with cheese. Tastes great on everything, bam you put it on toast, on pasta, on anything! VIVA LA CHEDDAR!

10 - What are your top ten Sci-Fi TV shows?

Top 10 Sci-Fi TV shows eh.
