"Scar, come on Scar wake up." I whispered in Scarlett's ear, shaking her gently. "Come on, were about to land."

No response.

"Get up. Get up. Get up. Get up. Get up." I repeated multiple times, poking her in her in the side each time.

She squirmed and tried to slap my hand away, but it was no use. Finally after another minute she gave in and woke up.

"Passengers, we will be landing in the next few minutes. Please pick up any trash and turn off all electronic devices, thank you." The flight attendant set down the speaker device, which I can't remember what they call it, and started walking down the aisle.

"Saph," Scarlett mumbled. "I forgot to put my bag away in the carry on thing above us."

"It's okay," I replied. "Were almost there." Just then, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and there stood the flight attendant, her piercing green eyes bored into mine. "Um, can I help you?" I asked confused.

"Miss, your not supposed to have any bag on you." She explained in monotone, giving me her fakest smile.

"Why, were almost there. It can't hurt to have it out." I explained, obviously annoyed.

"Miss, rules are rules, and I am just trying to do my job. The bag can not be out while we are in the air." She explained again.

I scoffed. "Yeah I heard you the first time! I'm not stupid, so don't act like I am!"

''Look miss, the bag needs to be put away. Rules are rules."

"Fine, fine, don't get your panties in a twist." I mumbled. "Scarlett, can I have your bag please?"

Scarlett giggled, and handed me her bag. I grabbed it from her and stood up. I opened the overhead storage compartment and was about to put it away when-

"You can't stand up on the plane!" The flight attendant shouted from behind me.

I spun around quickly and faced her completely. "But you said it had to be put away!" I yelled loudly.

"Yes, but you can't stand up on the plane while were in the air!"

"Your standing up on the plane!" I countered.

"It's my job!" She yelled back.

I was about to yell back when the plane bounced, and then stopped. Thank goodness, we landed.

"Well, would you look at that!" I stated happily. "I guess I didn't have to put the bag away after all."

Scarlett laughed from behind me and grabbed my bag out of the storage compartment and smiled up at me. "Ready mommy?"

I looked back at the flight attendant and laughed when I saw her face. Her eyes were bulging so far out of her head I'm surprised they didn't pop out. And her jaw almost hit the floor. She was utterly speechless.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies." I laughed and patted the top of her head.

I pushed past her and Scarlett put her hand in mine. I smiled down at her and we walked off of the plane. There was no need for us to go to the luggage terminal because all we had were our carry-ons. So, we walked out of the airport and into the Florida sea air. As soon as we walked out Scarlett's eyes lit up like a little kid's on Christmas morning.
