My clock stated it was 1 am and there was only one thing that beeped across my mind. Michael’s name.
It was as if someone had broken a CD which kept playing his name over and over again.
I had the urge to just close my eyes and fall asleep but every time I tried, an image of him flashed across my mind.

When I tried humming the tune to a Katy Perry’s song it sounded as if the lyrics to the whole song was Michael’s name being repeated, which didn’t help much.

I shifted uncomfortably in my bed and tried to find a position where all this insomnia would stop. It never did.
I could up completely defeated by my will and pushed on some jogging shoes. But before I could exit my room, I saw my reflection in the mirror and unlike earlier when I left to visit Connor I actually cared about my appearance.

I tried to brush down my hair and put cherry Chap Stick on my lips. I sprayed a sweet smelling perfume on my sweat shirt and traded my pajamas for some quarter pants.

Even though my heart was beating a mile per minute I knew I had to this. More importantly I had to do this right now so I could get some sleep and not feel guilty, cheated on, used, hurt, and misunderstood.

I felt used and cheated on because of Connor; he never really liked me that way. Heck he never planned on staying with me. Though I felt guilty because of just leaving Michael like that even after he helped me figure everything out.

I put my cell phone in my pocket and walked out my house. Even though my parents where home I felt lonely because I didn’t have Connor with me nor Michael although I knew what I had to do from this point and beyond.

Even the chilly winter air wouldn’t change my mind on the track of life I was choosing because this was it.

I might have not wanted this to happen in the past year but 3 years ago this was definitely what I wanted.

I saw Terry’s apartment but wasn’t sure if I should call Michael down or just go up to Terry’s apartment. I choose the second option and decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator so I could waist more time before I confessed anything.

Although the stairs only caused me 5 minutes wait I still had no idea what I was going to say or do but I just knew I had to get this over with now.

I decided against ringing the doorbell and decided to check if the apartment was locked.

Luck was defiantly on my side tonight/today as the door was unlocked.

I walked into the heated apartment and made my way t the room which I guessed was Michael’s.

I did not want to ring the doorbell at 2 am and asking Terry if I could speak to Michael because that would clearly be awkward.

When I entered him room I saw him sleeping on the bed arms spread out and the rest of his body under the covers. Regardless of the weather being cold he didn’t have a shirt on although he looked extremely cute when sleeping.

I thought of waiting in his room until the sun came up but then choose not to because that would be extremely creepy, plus it reminded me of twilight where Edward would watch Bella sleep all night and wait for her to wake up the next morning. It reminded me of all the crappy movies they made for teenagers and how Chandler would obsess over them when we were in high school.

I slowly turned on his side lamp and sat down beside him on the bed.

“Michael.” I whispered his name cautiously but when he didn’t even stir I repeated my self but this time gave him a light shake which was enough to wake him up.

“Sam?” He groaned while rubbing his hand across his face. I nodded causing him to be fully awake and sit up next to me.

“Hi.” I said foolishly. I felt like a teen again when I had that stupid crush on Braiden.

He gave me a weird look and looked up at the clock on his wall which read 2.45 am.

Guess my brain had been totally messed up this morning/night.

“What’s wrong?” He questioned sincerely.

“Well um..” But I couldn’t finish off my sentence because I was at a lost of words.

I just gaped at him like an idiot having no idea what to say but I knew what do to.

I pushed my self further up towards him and pressed my lips against his cool ones.

He didn’t respond instantly but soon enough he kissed me back slowly.

I felt him all over my mouth and soon the slow kiss turned into a passionate one and by now he was on his back with me tightly gripped in between his arms and legs.

His bare chest was pressed to my own while my hair hung loosely around his face.

He flipped me on to my back and his hand slipped under my grey sweatshirt but before we could continue anything I spoke declaring everything I wanted to say for the past three years.

“I love you Michael.” He replied by saying something that changed my life completely into bliss of happiness.

“I love you too Sam.”
