The Light

If I ask people, what is light? Most will give the literal meaning which is the portion of electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye. Or some might mention the sun, moon and the stars. Of course some would also mention Jesus and God. They are all correct.

If I ask you who is the original source of light? Would you tell me that it is Jesus? God? Mary? Joseph? Or Jesus' disciples? This time you're wrong. That's because the original source of light is Lucifer. Of course, you wouldn't agree with me especially if you know the history of Lucifer. I wouldn't be surprised if you will react violently.

When we were young, older people would scare us that if you do this and that, the ghost will get you or something. Of course, we behave because we believe that they are tellin us the truth. But as we grow, we begin to realize that they are lying. But on the process you won't easily believe it. You would even say or think that the person telling the truth is lying. And that's natural because we are only defending ourselves and our beliefs. And when the time comes we will gradually accept it.

We all have our own cages not only when were young. We are put into cage on what we believe in. And when the truth comes, we don't easily accept it. You see practice makes permanent. We get to be conquered by our reasons and all.

The light is said to be the right one, the right path and everything that is right. But haven't you asked yourself, why? If you're asking yourself now, that's good. Let me tell you what I've realized. The light is not said to be purely right but it is not purely incorrect either. But people believe that it is. The truth is not always purely that's right, happy or good. The truth could even be bad and hurting. That only means that the light is the truth.

Let's go back to Lucifer. Why is he the source of light? Yes, he is bad and against God. But do you know the meaning of his name? It is light-bearer. He became the original source of light from the time that God created man. Adam and Eve don't know anything about paradise even if everything is given to them. But they don't know what paradise is. They don't know what is right from wrong. They are like two year old kids playing in the park until the serpent came. The serpent persuaded them to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge. When they gave in to the serpent, they've known of what they never knew. They already knew that they are naked so they hid. But they couldn't hide from God. So God punished them not because they've known the truth but because they disobeyed him. That is the time when Lucifer became the original source of light.

Now, these are my final questions. If you say that you know something about the truth, what would you do about it? And why? Second is would you rather believe on what you've started believing and be ignorant or face the truth and handle the consequences? And lastly, is it right to question the beliefs of others or even your own beliefs? Think about it.
