Chapter 3: Let nothing stand in your way!

"Well, you'll get to know me." I said. Percy smiled.

The lady from the front desk came up to us and said... "May I take your order?"

"Annabeth?" I asked.

"Um... Yes, I would like three buttermilk pancakes, with butter, syrup, and strawberries." Annabeth told the lady as she wrote it down.

"And for you, my dear?"

I looked at her and said "Same."

Percy and Grover wanted the same thing as well.

"Alright, i'll be back in a minute."

"Thank you." we all said

After we ate, Annabeth, Grover, and Percy took me to where Percy and Grover go to school. I couldn't read the sign, the name of the school, was a little to long for me.

Percy was going on a field trip today and I didn't want to intrude, but Annabeth told me... "This will tell you more about your father." She was actually telling both Percy and I.

When we went on the field trip, and a lady dragged both Percy and I into a room, with all kinds of old treasures.

Percy's POV

"So what did you need to talk to us about, Ms. Dod's?" I asked looking around for the teacher that pulled us in here to 'talk.'

"Where is it!!!" The lady yelled from the top of a working station for builders.

Aqua and I looked at each other, "HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE!" we screamed.

She turned into some kind of bat, winged thing and came flying at us. "Where is it! The lightning bolt!"

"What are you talking about?!?" We yelled as we ducked, trying not to dye!

"Get away from them, you furry!!!" My teacher called from the door, but he was with Annabeth and Grover so...

Aqua's POV

"Aqua catch!" The guy at the door that Percy seemed to trust.

I caught what he threw at me "This is a pen!" I yelled.

"Why did you just give her a pen to protect herself???" Percy asked.

"This is a pen!" I was still yelling, as I was running away from the winged, bat, person, thing!

They all looked at each other and screamed "Aqua, click the pen!"

"But, it's a pen!!!"

"We understand that."

"All that will come out of it is ink!"

They looked at eachother for a minute, like is she crazy, then they said "JUST CLICK IT!!!"

I looked at them for a second and did what they wanted. I clicked the pen, "Woo." It was a sword!

"Now fight for your life!" Annabeth screamed at me.

"Right!" I said back.

I hit the furry thing enough times for it to retreat. "Yah!" I yelled then I yelled "CHICKEN!" at Percy. Cuz, all he did was run behind Annabeth, Grover, and the guy in a wheelchair.

"Here is your pen/sword back." I tried to give the guy his sword, pen thing back, but instead of taking it, he clicked it and put it in my front pocket.

"Keep it, you will need it again, someday soon." he said, patting my pocket, to make sure it was tightly in their.

After that, all of them ignored Percy and I. "It's not safe for them here, anymore." The guy in the wheelchair said.

"We have to talk to Sally." Grover said.

"Very well, go, nothing must stop you!"

"Nothing will!" Annabeth said.

"Good! Now, go!" The guy in the wheelchair, practically pushed us away.
