RECAP: The last thing I remembered was being punched in the face and someone calling my name.++LUKE'S POV++"MIKA!"
Chapter 6- Sneak Attack!
**ALMOST TWO WEEKS LATER!!**
She's been in the hospital for two weeks now! WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO! I can't just sit here. My wolf is yelping for his mate (OUR mate) and I can't-
"Stop," Aiden said, with his nothing in his voice. He was upset as I was since him and Mika have gotten close over the past few days. I run my hand through my black hair, forcing it to cover over my eyes. Even through Aiden was with Courtney at our home, he could still hear my thoughts. I close our link- blocking out everyone out.
I lift my head to look at Mika's still face. She had a few stitches on her jawline, a cast on her right hand, and very large bruise on her stomach. The doctor said she was lucky to be alive (LUCKY!). My wolf whimpers in even more pain of the thought of losing her.
She was attacked by a rogue. And not just any rogue- my damn Uncle. For people who say they can't hate their family.... Your a liar and you never met my family. Max (My "Uncle") has been upset that my father was Alpha of the pack. He even got more upset when my father didn't choice him as Beta. When he couldn't take it anymore, he killed his own mate and went completely crazy.
'He's not going to be LUCKY when I get my paws on his fucking neck!', My wolf growls.
Even my wolf saying that didn't help my mood. All I wanted was Mika to wake up. For her to do that little grin she always did when she was trying not to smile. For her to crunch up her eyebrows, tilt her head to one side, and scratch her head when ever she was confused in History.
I sat there watching Mika's face for a few more mintues until I kissed her hand and grabbed my jacket off the chair. I exit the hospital and head for the forest on foot. When I'm deep in the forest I change and run until I pick up my uncle's scent- Pine, mint, and blood. He just finished hunting a dear.
I open the link to him- even though he's not apart of my pack, I'm alpha and I can open a link with anyone I felt.
'You jackass...' was all I could think of before I tackled him and was standing over him. I could hear him laughing through the link.
'Nice to see you too Luke. Is that how you greet your uncle?', he said with his raspy voice (smoked a lot before staying in wolf form).
'YOU ARE NOT MY UNCLE! YOU'RE JUST A WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP!', I yelled. I lifted my paw and let all the strength of being Alpha take control. Max fought back but I still had the upper hand in all this. I was close (SO CLOSE) to putting him out of his pathetic, worthless life until I heard my father.
"Luke. Stop," My father was standing off to the side in human form with his hands in his jacket pocket. He was standing there starring at me until I moved away from Max. Once I was far from Max, Max changed into his human form. He had jeans and a white T on. I took a seat on the ground but stayed on my hind-legs.
"Well, I must be sooooo lucky to meet the Alpha in person," Max says dramatically and bows. My father stares at his brother with shame and guilt in his eyes.
"Max. Why'd you come back?", My father said.
'Dad, really? There's no-' I begin to say but my father interrupts me.
"Travelling around the states by yourself can get sad. So, I thought I might as well check up on my family. Even my nephew," Max said, turning his head to me with a grin on his face.
"You should be died," My father stated.
"Why is that? You didn't have the balls to kill me after I killed Trina and half the pack," Max said, pacing around with his hands in his jean pockets.
My father didn't say anything until Max looked back at him, "Your my brother. I can't just kill you."
"Nope! I'm not you're brother!", Max said bitterly, "Because you betrayed me by not making me beta. You betrayed me when you started to reject every thought, every suggestion, every option I had towards the pack."
Before my father could answer, Max lunged at my father and changed in mid-air. But before he could get hand on him, My father used the pocket knife to make a large gash on Max's belly. Max fell to the ground- whimpering. My wolf growled in pleasure but was still unsatisfied that he didn't get to do it.
