Noon

It's noon.

And I'm drawing my hand close,
close to your heart and breath.

I've been through pain,
haven't  I told from the beginning the truth?
But since when was it about you?
Without  patience, what can I do?

Now have you commanded the song of the morning?
Have you played the the chords of noon?
Have you seen and healed the patches of the horizon?

I'm waiting for you.
Looking for you.

I'm here.

For I'm still looking for that river of light,
where the bears drink and the doe sing.
The paths of peace, where the kings sleep,
Where the rain falls on the lily beneath the rock.

I, still love you.
I, still love you.
I still do.

 Carrying my bow and sword,
lifting reason and truth,
looking for the lake of desire.
I know it's in you.

The strings of lover's
I know still plays
on that sycamore tree.

And the birds still fly
for the stars.

Weighing my heart, within reason and sport,
In all I might tell you, would you follow and see?
If you, too, can consider the dreams across the noon.
