Unspoken Truths

I looked down upon a little village in red. No one seemed normal because no one was normal. As you might think of them as humans, I think of them as monsters.

A little boy in a black shirt, black pants, and a red cape stared up at me. His green eyes pierced mine. His fair red hair was covered by the blood red cape. He smiled, fangs extended, eyes narrowing in fake delight, and the walked off.

I'm Shouren (Shye-ow-ren) Kail (Kyle). I have a twin Brother, Shouran (Shyeh-ow-ran) Kail, and a little sister, Shinrin. I wear black and grey clothes but Shouran wears light grey and white clothes. Shinrin wear whatever you give her as long as it's not from the men's section.

"Come on, little guard, open the dooooooooooor~!" Shinirn thought that when the guard opens the door to give us our food that she could jump out and fight the guard as we take off for freedom. These vampires oppresed us and took our belongings.

Shouran replied to her fake plea, "He's not gonna hear you and even if he could, he wouldn't open the door."

Shouran was wrong. The guard opened the door and there were two vampire officials there. They picked up Shinrin by the arms and took her away.

"No! Stop! You can't do this! Give her back!" I shouted until the guard hit me on the base of my neck knocking me out. We didn't know what would happen to our sister. Our biggest fear was that they turned her... you know... change her into a vampire… just like they did to us a year ago. She was the last human in the family. We tried to save her and make sure she stayed that way. With there being two vampire types, we could only pray she was changed into a physical vampire. We might be a little too late though… we can only pray.

I walked around with a big shoulder due to the bandage that Keslie wrapped where the knife was. Samuel… he was my nightmare but not my worst nightmare.  That guy… he appeared in my dreams and kept mocking my mind. I was dizzy from the recurring smell of blood caused by me passing Keslie’s room. She kept the knife for DNA and my blood samples. There were reasons and I wasn’t able to know that reason for safety reasons.

I waited for something to happen but nothing happened.

An hour passed and there was still nothing. I decided I would lounge in the living room and wait there. So I set off for the living room.
